I have a list of anime's that I've seen & it consists of 82 titles that I've seen throughout my life (am 19 years old and I started watching anime at the age of 13 or 14, not sure).

I can't really choose my top 5 anime's because it's hard for me. There are lots of good ones though & no offense but most of the posts (most of them, not all) consist of some of the worst & most boring ones that I've seen

Worth to mention: Berserk (OVA's), Hellsing (Ultimate OVA), Great Teacher Onizuka, Claymore, Death Note, Monster, Shiki, Rainbow - Nisha Rokubou no Shichnin, Princess Mononoke, Ghost In The Shell (all of it), Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (Fullmetal Alchemist is not bad either but Brotherhood follows the original story), Code Geass R1 & R2 Lelouch of the Rebellion, Wolf's Rain, Gungrave, Baccano!, JoJo-s-Bizarre-Adventure (part 1 & 2, the newest anime version of the manga), Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, House of Five Leaves, Golden Boy, Shigurui, Texhnolyze, Wolf's Children, Durarara (all of em), Beck (most underrated anime about music, no regrets, awesome & most realistic one, F*CK K-ON), ...

Hellsing & Berserk OVA's are literally remake + continuation of the anime's, better animations & everything.
Cowboy Bebop & Samurai Champloo are similar, cultural anime's with a good story, comedy...relaxing titles to watch.
Baccano! A story of 11 episodes, totally worth it.
Gungrave is one of the best friendship, mafia anime's out there...I cried like a bi*ch at the end.
Rainbow - Nisha Rokubou no Shichnin the most dramatic anime I've ever seen. Best bromance anime out there, realistic as fu*k, cried like a bi*ch as well on this one. No regrets!
Code Geass R1 & R2 Lelouch of the Rebellion & Monster, if you like Death Note then give them a try!
House of Five Leaves Something unique & different than the other anime's, relaxing to watch & very interesting if you ask me. Amusing OST as well & mysterious characters as f*ck.
