I have been noticing people with this problem including myself, 3-5 second freeze lags every minute or so and this fixed the problem, Try this....Delete all temp files\cache and how I did that was with disk cleanup and I even went one step further and used ccleaner for registry and full clean and it fixed it for me but with ccleaner make sure to uncheck dbog. This was told to me by cyperon and I wanted to get this out there for those who dont know. 
For those having recent lag\freeze issues since last update try this.

Another way to make the game a bit more smooth in win10. Add the dbog.exe and the dbo folder into your antivirus whitelist

Just use your "Windows" Key + R and type in "temp" & "%temp%". Both of these are editable and shouldn't have any negative effects on your system. As far as I've seen anyway.
- Note: CCleaner is a very useful and safe-lightweight program you can use to clean your PC. So don't be afraid it.
