Make SSJ Great Again
-
-
It's not "great again". It was never was, even in it's prime. It had a hint of usefulness during the initial DBO KR beta where it increased skill animation speed. That's what we were talking about in the first place, since the 1% boost was obviously just a bug.
You gotta add context bro its all about the situation, for instance a turtle with ssj is better than a fighter with it just like a fighter with kaioken is better than a turtle with it. Ssj is good for your player type they both serve there roles.
...why does everyone think being able to upkeep a form for hours is an actual advantage in serious combat? No. Being able to 100% land criticals(double damage and ignores defense) is. It can even last equally long if you have a healer.
-
I think the main problem is that SSJ cannot surpass the Kaioken with a reasonable level.
Since every race has Kaioken. Therefore, the transformation should be much better than Kaioken.
Great Namek has great defense, Pure Buu has great offence, so SSJ should have great balance ability.
My wish.....for SSJ
LP - increased by 20%
physical offence - increased by 30%
energy offence - increased by 30%
physical defence - increased by 10%
energy defence - increased by 10%
attack speed - increased by 25%I am greedy.......

No way, that's perfect! It's literally Kaioken, except it forgoes the critical hitrate boosts, but is better for survival!

I second this.

I'd add in the Kaioken Crit boost for good measure
But I'd be getting ahead of myself
-
all fixed now yay!

But I'd be getting ahead of myselfWe're thinking in gameplay terms, not canonical. If SSJ just outclasses Kaioken in every way there'll be no reason to get Kaioken as a human. All it needs is to have something to set it apart.
Imagine if SSJ actually boosted your stats by 50x, though....5000% movement speed, baby. XD
-
the ssj cooldown makes kaioken good.
-
you guys know...that...daneos won't change a thing in the transformations.
-
I'd still like if SSJ got a bit more permanent attack speed boost compared to kaio-ken.
As kaio-ken is a short burst in power whereas ssj is a more permanent one.
I would also like for SSJ to get a bit higher physical attack boost, not neccesarily a crit boost
or anything that would be similar to kaio-ken.
But meh, that's just me saying things, at least it got fixed. -

lol, that's like the last factor that matters, though.

-
If we're making speed a focus a lower cooldown for all skills would be legit

This gives me an idea maybe we should have SSJ crank up attack speed by a little, lower CD for non buffs, lower Casting Time, and increase skill animation as well as reducing end lag
That way the SSJ form would have an emphasis more on continuous DPS, rather than kaioken's raw power output in short bursts
And because of the EP drain, It would require a more conservative use of skills so you dn't drain yourself dry
It would be useful for all Earth classes, and would be ideal for mobs/farming. While Kaioken is a good burst type move against bosses with it's insane crit rate
It'd need some balancing but I think I'm on to something here
Pitch this to the Dan man!

Kaiouken is actually still stronger than Super Saiyan, after the transformation fixes. It isn't by much, but they are definitely not both +20% physical/energy damage equally. Here are pictures of my stats, to show what I mean.
Kaiouken is giving me an extra 24 physical attack and an extra 43 energy attack over Super Saiyan.
-
My idea is that Kaioken has the raw power out, while SSJ has the speed and versatility
They just need to buff the kaioken crit rate

You mean fix. Energy Crit is bugged, but physical isn't.
Also if people complain about CD why not just give the forms the CD RP effect like what Kaio-Ken has. They already have a menu to put it in.

there is no reason to gif ssj or great namek or pure majin give a rp cd effect it was not in original game so we dont need it -
