Hi, well they are very different, Dende is a support class, you can regen ep, lp, restore huge amounts of lp thanks to kami's healing technique skill, you have an in area revive skill and more.
This doesn't meant that you can't pvp, some of the dragon class skills are really good for pvp (kami's desire, kami splendor, kami's assistance) but i see poko as a much better pvp class.
I'll give you a support build, i use it in CCDB but i'm not doing anything else with my dende:

I can't share poko builds because i don't have one, but just looking at the skill tree you can notice that is pvp oriented with good support skills, those buff of defense and reflect uff, i can make a good use of that 35m kd :love: .

I know things are different in the current DBOG and the retail server (specifically, the Korean one), but I would like to let you know that there was an immortal dende player who won the adult bodokai more than ten times. That is, dende could be one of the best PvP classes although I am not completely sure if that would be possible in DBOG too.

First of all, you must uderstand that dende is a healer and poko is a dps, you can build your character depending on what you want for it (pve, pvp 1c1, pvp 5c5...) but keep in mind that important difference.
Having said this, as dende you will find more easily both pve and pvp parties, at least in old dbo dende was always the hardest spot to find (more than tank or of course dps). Poko is good in pvp but in pve its only usefull in speed parties, if not i see him one of the worst in pve since he doesn´t have good damage, after speed came in old dbo (at lvl 60 cap) i didnt use to see almost never a poko in a party.
You must choose whatever you enjoy playing, if you dont like to heal dont choose a dende because its easier to find a group.

The class is the class you will most likely feel comfortable with, just like what was said before. Dendes, to put it simply, are needed throughout the game lol. And this is primarily because of their supportive skills. Pokos, also to put it simply, aren't used to be as a support character, rather to be used as an attack character. I will speak from observation, rather than experience because I never played pokos lol:
Poko Priests usually use their Dragon Clan skills on their monsters in order to buff them up and use their monsters to "pack a punch" to their enemies.
However, in the current state of the game, if you stray to far from your monsters, the monsters will be bugged.

Thanks for all the info fellas, really appreciate it. Iv decided to go with poko, idk but there skill seems to be more my style then a healer support. If any of y'all have a poko build I would appreciate it

No problem, and what kind of Poko build would you like.

I don´t know about poko in pvp, but for pve you could use this:

It is for lvl 70 dungeon, i dont need to say that all lvl 70 pve parties with poko are speed groups, poko isnt a good damager without speed so he doesn´t have place in any other kind of group. As you should have notice i didn´t put summoned dragons, since they cant use speed attack (at least they couldn´t in old dbo).

Well I want a speed build for my poko, I wanna keep the theme going

Dende/Poko = support,no matter what! to be dps you need skills that lands massive dmg.
Dende =healer
Poko =summoner
As you whent for poko
speed build

small explanation why dragons rage instead of fury, rage is an energy attack pet, which has distance attack, fury is a melee pet, which can tank, but while questing,it might get agro alot of mobs and once you decide to heal it bam you got the agro...RUN.
The build im posting i call it selfish, which means its a lvling one,it will help you farm and get the 70 cap as solo...after you get there we speak again

Two tips I'll give you.
1- always be near West City CC... Free Gear
2- check dende guide

Ok thanks for all the info guys

What type of armor should I use? Stat wise

Any Dende build good for CCBD? I'm making one too

Badass has a good Dende guide that helped me make my Dende build. Maybe it will help you, too.

Dende is better in PVP and PVE

Dende is better in PVP and PVE
it's much more of a Party class.
One of the essentional ones in PvP and PvE dungeons

I went with dende after all, seems to be the most popular for every thing

You should use 2 CON parts + 1 LP% Abs, or 3 CON parts both works good in pve and pvp. About weapons, both weapons speed% in pve and 1 focus + 1 speed% in pvp, at least agains fighters/swordmans or you are going to fail everything.
For rings, focus set from CCBD (or kraken when it is released), CD earrings (very important for speed buff all the party) and for necklace you could use attack prop but it is hard to get one good.

I will tell you again, as dende you will easily find party for everything but don´t do it only for that reason, if you dont like to be a healer you will regret becaming dende some day. If you aren´t lvl 30 yet, try go UD1 as healer, its not like healing at lvl 70 dungeons but you will get an idea of what looks like.

Any class can be a good PvP class, depending on its gears and the player's level of undertanding about how to play it for PvP.
The only exception would be DW, which I myself main.
