A lot of the mobs have different names but look exactly thee same.. i think they should have at least a different color pallet

I agree with this.:)

i agree, like metin2

Yes. Palete swap, size change. Simple things that could make these annoying frogs more unique is welcomed change.
-
TBH I would love to do this but they actually use the same texture and just change the name ingame. thus I change the texture for one they all change ahahahaha.
-
Bad news then :p
-
I think it will be easy to the make them use different textures when everything is done, will it?

They need to make new modell, rig it, give new mop ID, so the game could identify it and add it.Maybe interessting if they want to release "new" maps like Baba. But quite some work tho.. -
Maybe something to come back and look at once the real important work is done, but I don't think it would impact enjoyment of the game enough to warrant giving it any serious attention for any length of time. If it requires ignoring a minor issue like this (which the game developers themselves seemed just fine with in the first place) to begin work on new content once the servers are up and running smoothly and everything is in place, I'd be perfectly fine living with fighting the same monster with different names and levels.

I don't think reskins are the best of idea simply because you want to make mobs look different. I mean if they reskin mobs, that would take a freaking while! And by that I mean a very Long time! Re-Skinning is basically them making whole new mobs but with similar move sets, so you might as well tell them to make new mobs instead!(I know it is way less work for the team, but making one new mob that looks special is way better than re-skinning 3 or 2 that would not look so unique anyway)

It is acctualy just color swap of textures that can be done in many different ways that are not so complex. If you ever done some modding you should undertand. Prolem comes in because re-colored models need to be added to the game and this edition requires fair amount of coding. Like Saito said, you change mobs from 1 location and the same model f* up everywhere
-
You could copy and paste most of the existing stuff and then just change the color to create a new monster. The problem comes in when you need to create new mob IDs for every monster of that type as well as fixing any quests and loot lists that are associated with that type. It would basically just be creating brand new content from the ground up with only basic reference to the source material.
-
In other words too much work for such a little impact.

Saito what about if we add to those id names textures of unused mobs .. saw many of them in tex(1-60).pak files ..
