what do i do to switch to the new client and i have the old game

hello i have 2 questions 1- i dont have a phone how can i access your discord and 2- i need assistence to download the game is there a step by step way to show me alittle confused?

Everyone now has access.
However, newly created accounts will not have access and you're unable to change your password.
i just downloaded the new launcher but i read this does that mean the game will not work for me?

thank you for your help earlier I downloaded the new launcher seeing that I am new to this game I downloaded the new launcher and when I put in my name and password it isn't working just gives me an error that my account doesnt exist but when i go to the main page to register my account is up and it says its active
