How is this possible aren't it random

Hi me and a friend played the game and tested things out, we went to the pet vending machine and we drew a pet from the machine at the same time. Guess what happen the same pet and same pet skill. The thing is shouldnt this be completely random for both pet and skill and not determined by time itself.

Whats your opinion on the matter?

Lmao never had that happen to me even in the old game. I am going to test and see if I can regreate it xD
