First Third post
Long intro:
I played DBO TW and HK. I started as a fighter, then a turtle, and now I am a crane. Throughout all of dbo 1 thing is very clear, PvP is not very skill based. Even when compared to other mmos, dbo is only good because it is Dragon Ball. The PvP is mostly unskillful, not much End Game, and the original dbo was very Pay2Win. You can argue that last point, but cashing did get you much further ahead, even if you didn't have to cash at all to "win." Anyway, I have a suggestion to make the PvP, and PvE, have a better skillful feel to it.
Short intro: I have suggestions for both the dashing and blocking skills.
Dashing:
Make it so while the dashing animation is going through, you have an increase of dodge. Add levels to dash, which increase the amount of dodge you get during the animation, and increase the cost.
Why: This would make PvP way more skillful, you can actually dash to manually increase your dodge and hope to dodge skills, and it opens up more ways to build. Sure this would be "op" on fighters, but fighters could choose not to add points to it in their build since they already have so much dodge, or they would have to trade points for it. Either way, it's just an increase of dodge while dashing.
Blocking:
The ending animation of blocking should be taken out entirely, you should be able to throw up your block and then follow up immediately. Adding points to the skill would actually be worth it. If you see someone charging a kame, you can quick block it, then retaliate. Every skill should have guard break, and if you guard a skill that had guard break, you should be put to sleep for a few seconds. I think sleep because if you get hit by anything in those few seconds you can still move, its not just a free stun.
Why: Blocking should be a skillful way to stop attacks. This makes people think, do I block, do I take it incase they used guard break, do I dash and try to dodge. It adds way more thought to PvP. If your opponent used guard break and you didn't use guard, their attack should have reduced damage, like 50%. If you're guarding and they use guard break you get hit for the full 100% and fall asleep for ~3 seconds.
