Hello. terribly sorry for the necro post here. but this is the most relevant result when searching on Google for anti-aliasing and this game.

i have found the only way to get AA working in this game is to use nvidiaprofileinspector. you got to set the Antialiasing - Compatibility (DX9) option to Diablo III.
