Same thing happened to me, but when it happened the whole camera just went to the top left, so I cant even start the game, does this sound similiar to your problem? (btw if you press ctrl esc the colors restore to their original look.)
increase gamma rays after enabling full screen and it will get brighter
your gamma lvl is low reise it in options
same with sound
when I switched to full screen and raised gamma that worked but then I got d/c and when I logged back some off the buttons were off screen like create character and enter world button the login button was under the bottom of the screen and the only way I was able to get to character screen is cause you can just press enter but not I cant see the start button to actualy launches my character in game I seem to remember this happening on live servers as well but I don't remember what I did to fix it.. anyone have any ideas? o
When that happened to me the download became glitched and the dboglobal files were split into two, took me awhile to find them both and to combine them. After that the game ran smoother then butter, of course I have to play in windows mode, but I prefer over full screen cause I can check the current build I'm progressing on without having to alt+tab.
Oh I forgot to clear this up... I went into display settings and switched text size from 125% to 100% that's a sure way to fix the problem .. or so it seems... probably anything less then 125% might work I have not tried going over 125% ew
