I'm going to be honest. I'm seriously disappointed that all the armor and clothing we see in the official artwork is...well it's shit ingame. None of them even come close to the endgame armor you can have. Seriously I want to put this outfit on my Spirit.
That's an official piece of DBO artwork, and ingame it's like lv. 30 armor. Seriously we need some of these armor/clothing to become dogis so we actually look like the characters in the promotional and official artwork.
Armor as Dogis?

Yeah I would agree to have some armours to become dogis. An armour set I would love to see as a dogi is something simple like Vegeta's saiyan armour. Its quite disappointing that in the original game this wasn't a dogi.

Anyone else pretty annoyed that Piccolo's cape and outfit isn't a Dogi?
I mean cmon, you know how badass it looked on him and Gohan?
EDIT: If I can remember correctly, it was actually an armor set in the game only for nameks. So yeah, given that's it already in the game, it shouldn't be hard to implement.

Just out of curiosity was there ever a Ginyu Force dogi?
-
How cool would a dogi like this look on a super saiyan.
-
Also Saiyan armor. All that freaken Saiyan Armor sweetness.

This is an example of a set of armor that I'd like to be a dogi of some sort.Another set of armor I'd like to have as a dogi is the Swordsmen jacket.
I love dogis and how a lot of them are from the original cast, but if I want my SM to wear a jacket than dammit I want my SM to wear a Jacket. -
Sooooo yeah apparently like scouters you can disable dogis so that only your armor shows. Another derp moment on my part. Nonetheless, I'd like to see these kinds of armors appear ingame that you can farm or craft at endgame. Same reason as before.

Why does people want to look like official characters instead of going for an original look? Just use the armor and don't use a dogi.

They quickly get useless.
We can't have the same armour for a long perioid of time. After a couple of Lvs it becomes shitty. -
As someone who values having control over character appearance, I greatly agree with this thread. I've seen a handful of outfits (including that caped piccolo armor) that I would love to be able to wear as a dogi. Honestly, more options that aren't based on a specific character in general are most welcome to me.

Would be really cool to have that piccolo dogi since I want to make a namekian :3

Agreed. Hell it would be nice to hide our gloves so that, aside from our sub-weapon, we'd basically have our character more or less dressed like in the official artwork.
-
When the game came out the lvl cap was low so thats why the artwork armor are low level.
But I like the idea I actually prefer the looks of tmq or crafted armor from the dogis on some chars.

I'm just going to leave it here...

That's a really awesome system.

Ah the swordsman jacket is very cool x3 it would be awesome to have some set of armors as dogis, or we could have the option to only change what our character wear, without having to change armor and get weak, like in DC universe online that when you get armor, you can change the appearance of your character with any piece of armor that you got in the game so then you dont have to use a old set to look good.

This. Needs. To Be. A Thing.
...although wouldn't the armor we use still need to be high level?
