it really isn't. i have made a couple of these threads, and im pretty sure i can't even enter my own threads. sure, player report is just creating alot of drama. but why would you have something on the forums where everybody can see it but not enter?

This sort of stuff is more their area than us basic users.

over the past month i've noticed that you can't see any player report threads. whenever you click on a thread it takes you back to the homepage of the forums. so i'm wondering if Danoes won't let us report more people because it's only pre open beta or it's just something wrong with the forums?
My browser only does that when i'm not logged in to the forums.
It might sound silly as you obviously had to be logged in to make this thread but maybe try logging out and in then trying again?

No one knows. No even daneos because it is far (very far) from being stable or bug free.
When he decides after numerous updates and changes he will tell everyone on the forum. Also as a side note, don't pester him about it. he has loads of work to do.

The official game closed a few years ago. In a sense this is a fan version of a closed game.
So in a way you will never get to play the 'Official' version.

He already said everything is going to be wiped. Not because some people glitched or took advantage of bugs. But because the is a Pre-Open Beta. Every beta test in the world is not eh final product and is wiped and changes are added to the final game.
Everyone playing right now agreed to this knowing their characters were to be wiped if they bothered to read the forum before they installed it.
When the 'final' version of the game comes out when most of the bugs have been ironed out everyone will have to put up and deal with having a fresh start.
I really am sorry if i sound rude but if you don't want to lose your progress then you simply have to wait for the beta test to be over and play on the game when it's not open beta.

Don't you need Tier 2 Dragonballs for it that you can't get yet anyway?
You get 1 HTB Skill when you get your masterclass and can choose to learn a second one if you collect the tier 2 Dragonballs

Anybody gonna tell me what a level 33 stone does and a way to find it?
The level 33 stone is/was a cash shop item that boosted your character straight to lvl 33 if you were at least lvl 5 i think or maybe 10, i'm not too sure. It's been a while XD

I can help with this but the information i give might not be 100% accurate as it has been about 3 years since i've DB hunted in this game!
It used to be every few days, i think it lasted for around 2 or 3 hours but when mobs spawned as long as you had a scouter that could identify Dragonball mobs when sometimes you would be able to see if a mob had a chance of dropping a Dragonball upon defeating it on the mini map (instead of showing a dot it would show a Dragonball)
The catch was that the monster you killed had to be from 5 levels lower than you or higher to drop one. This stops everyone from crowding the lower mob areas and giving the lower characters a chance.
For example a lvl 30 player could only get DBs from lvl 25+ mobs but the higher the level the better the chances.
Another factor to get one to drop was the ranking of the monster you killed. regular mobs had a low chance to drop one, and bosses had a higher chance. It went " Regular < Super < Ultra < Boss < Hero "
The most common and most effective way of getting the balls would be to find an area with mobs the same level or around 3 higher than you that yo could kill them all relatively quickly so that when they re spawned some could be a Dragonball mob. Then when you defeated that it might drop a Dragonball. Most of the time you wouldn't get one but when you did it was so exciting!
i absolutely adored doing it!Sometimes you wouldn't get one at all during the time limit but my personal record was 4 in one sitting

Or if you don't want to get amour damage from dying at the Platform. You could just not walk onto it a, thus completely obliterating the risk of getting damaged from it?

Before anyone else wants to throw any digs or insults a me such as hinting that i am selfish may i just say that i am only relaying what i was told when i discovered the chests myself. I assume this is the way it was handled as no one on DBOCOM posted anything about it and when we did it was asked of us that we don't reveal location so that we let others have the fun in finding them too.
I do not want to "drown myself in zeni" if i did i would cash in. i don't even bother with the popo chests because i'm too busy helping out the people in my guild on dungeon runs or leveling up.
I will apologise if i hurt the feelings of the thread maker but in all seriousness what is wrong with finding things that don't work right ATM anyway?
So once again. Before anyone throws sly digs at me and thinks i don't know it's about me because you did not mention my name. i have noticed that one of you has thumbs downed every one of my posts so that is petty. i suggested we didn't show the locations to allow others to have fun finding them in-game. i could have PM you the location if you gave me the chance but you just jumped into calling me selfish. i'm done with this thread. i even tried to help out but you didn't think that ws above thumbs downing me either so bye.

The lvl 40 one in westland didn't drop anything for me at all until i hit level 34. maybe you have to be in range of the level to a degree? i did break it about 20 times getting nothing but came back at this level and i got something every time

Yeah they can. at the moment they drop items and food like regular mobs in the area. Just no popo coins

Not quoting because the boxes are getting huge!
I don't mind the grind for money and such. I quite enjoy running about taking down the mobs and collecting gear to sell and/or break down for crafting materials. so the money collecting isn't a problem.
So far the highest crafting recipe i've seen if the space pod mount you can get from the guy next to the dude with the afro down at korin tower for i think about 1,300,000 zeni

Since you are making a thread about crafting you may want to check out Nady93's Crafting guide. it's very well done with pictures included. Maybe it will help you with some stuff you might have missed or you may know things that they do not?

I do not like all this secrecy, in fact, i'm making a crafting guide to show you ho to obtain the armour recipes. It's kind of pathetic that people want to hide this as much as possible just to make cash out of it. A game shoud be enjoyable for everyone not only to oneself.
It's not a matter of keeping this stuff to a set of people so that they can be the only ones able to use it. They are very rare and quite frankly overpowered ways of making money that have been hidden very well on purpose to encourage people to look for and have fun finding them on their own. I enjoy looking for stuff and when someone ruins it for me i lose out.
I'm simply honoring the way in which the most of us abides by in the old servers.
Also i'm almost certain the boxes have nothing at all to do with crafting recipes as you get them from merchants and the crafting master? i've never found one in a popo chest.

I know a couple of locations for them:
On the mountains near the first TLQ for humans.
On the mountains west of the last quest place at korin area.
On the (ice) mountains west of tambourine camp.Pretty sure i saw one somewhere else, but since it doesn't give you a popo coin (bigger then the one from tier 1 DB) it's not really worth to look for them all. Yet.
Dude i'm not sure if you read the previous comments or haven't been taught about the not telling people rule. Especially online where everyone can see it XD

Kind of, yes. Since the update that fixed many things and allowed us to do much more some bugs have come up (which is always the case when fixing code) This is being looked into and also currently being fixed, as said by Daneos. The game works for the majority of the day and night but will lag a little sometimes. you can play it for hours no problem.
