Mods please keep your focus and ignore these children, they'll understand when obt comes. This update will be called "The Cleansing" since all the lazy gamers and those who think pre-open beta means official game will leave. And those who have game sense will enjoy

What about gear builds and testing? For example, if I just crafted a pair of high foc gloves, I would want to test them against my current en crit ones in a dungeon to see if the leap over to the doc side is worth it

Well the standard MMORPG way to approach that would be research on forums and advice from all you can get. Not everything in this game has to be set easy for those who don't wanna put the effort just because the lazy players think so (not throwing shade...just speaking generally)

But anyway....so long as the dev team stays focused and ignores the cries of those that don't speak for obt, all is good. More than 3/4 of those who "are gonna quit the game and never come back" will be back in obt anyway when they realise the difference and balance these updates would cause

Are the dbog players really that childish?

Do the people that sell gear by crafting fail to realise that once you don't equip the gear you can sell them...this is a great update IMO because in the open beta, more pve will be promoted since there will be a need of gear, and there will be less scams since there wont be a need to share equipment (and hopefully accounts)

Also. All these complains about how its going to make pre open beta worse is invalid since open beta is what we are aiming for. Hopefully everyone can stop slowing down the progress by giving unlimited complains to the team and just be patient for obt (which hopefully is very soon). Once obt is released then you can complain there

if you think about the long run of the game, after a few years there will be too many +15s and economy will die,

as stated by multiple people before

The reason the system is there is to make people hesitant to try too many upgrades at once, and if gives consequence to those that do. No consequence=chaos whether it be an online game or real life and that's a fact. As my first post said, it'd be better to ignore the thread as its annoying (my opinion) so i won't really be replying, but I'll watch. And if your suggestions do get implemented, props to you because you've worked hard at trying to start a change so you've got respect for that.

honestly, the whole point of the current system is to make people use their brain when upgrading, if you realise that you keep breaking after a certain upgrade, then stay at it until you stack more, it keeps people who want the easy way out from just spamming upgrades with no consequences. With your suggestions, those same cashers you complain about will just but like 40 stacks of stones and eventually get +15s. There is no other way to prevent it than by putting a consequence to deter people from just spamming the upgrades

Edit: you don't HAVE to buy anything, i know non cashers with +15s and I myself was able to achieve a full +10 set without cashing once (my set ofc is lvl 60 so it isn't really valid, but with this new upgrade stone drop rate it is VERRRRY possible

can the community who is okay with the current upgrade system come together and ignore this thread...its getting annoying, IMO, upgrade system is fine...it could be debatable whether rates should be changed. The thing you guys who wanna change it don't get is, in the TW version, and i assume the case will be the same in obt, +15 isn't a necessity. If barely anyone has it, then why make such a big deal. The idea for everyone to have +15 is one of the worst I've heard btw, as this will turn the game into just what this preopen beta is, and cause TONS of complaints about OP classes due to gear. My suggestion is just give it a try for obt, and keep in mind the game will be f2p for all those "cashes just need to buy white stones, cashers can buy equips with dogi balls and boxes"

It will not be the case in obt

If people buy the gear directly with money, who are we to complain for how they spend their money? If caught they'd get the item taken away anyway (i think)

But that's it, honestly i don't see the system changing as its the one used in TW that we all got accustomed to.

most likely in the video (i haven't watched but im assuming) he used CD reduction to make it spammable...just a guess

Edit: so i watched the video, and in dbo TW, 1 foc stat reduced stuns by an extremely minor amount. And being geared to fight the fighter, she wore doc gear so that caused the reduction

o.O I'm just here to say that by being offensive he means disrespectful (assuming)...we can voice our opinions while being respectful...hoping when coming from a non-mod it will be taken a bit seriously...we should just be thankful for now that the team is making wonderful progress in terms of game content, and if something is truly bad.. I'm sure daneos will revert it soon

Not much to say...I was messing around to make a video to introduce my friends to dbog...and was thinking why not get the forum to make a trailer do it...maybe separate pve and PvP trailers...

But yeah...tho is what I made...ima take it down and edit it once I get feedback...kinda rushed with the ulti vids

Then remove kames from turtles cuz they level up fast cuz of grind...

What is next, remove life steal, because it heals SK?

you'd be surprised who uses this logic >.>

I know I'm late but here to defend cranes by saying that with your ss, right now lp% isn't working correctly....so yeah...not sure if its just that majin lp% buff is disabled or the entire lp% calculation is messed up...but once fixed it would do less....but anyway...I just want everyone to think hard on that quote above when thinking about an antiburn accessory

    Edit:

Not doing the format since it isn't a well thought idea but,

Introduce a new form of ranked battle.

(Not sure if that fits in this thread...but just throwing the idea for other to think it up I'm detail
