My question is this though: when the game is wiped and the official release is out, will guilds be deleted as well and we will have to recreate the ones we are currently in? I'm assuming so but I just want to be sure.

I'm not sure what to do if that doesn't solve your problem. You could message one of the mods or Daneos though, see if they can come up with an answer to this.
