    Hello,

This thread/idea has been indirectly discussed before, and that’s essentially what lead to the achievement system idea.

This achievement system can only come with the new client, and thus will aim to be a solution/address the problems mentioned in this thread.

You might want to rethink that, otherwise you can stop what you're doing because you'll have no players by then xD

Been a while since I had a laugh, thanks

Did you read the news announcement? I don’t think you understand, that in order for DBO G to progress, the new client that’s been in development is needed.

Let me highlight this part of the news announcement for anyone who missed it or didn’t bother to read:

    Quote

That being said, there will be numerous changes made when we release it, but also in the future, as well. This new client will be able to provide several new possibilities for interesting additions to the game that the previous client couldn't!

What this means is, the new client is essential as it can add in new content in which the current client cannot have. The current client is limited/restricted to what it can do, and what can be added.

    Hello,

This concern has been brought to the administrators attention and we are currently discussing what will be a fair time for the application period.

Hopefully there will be changes soon.

    Hello,

This thread was brought to the DBO G's Team attention and there will be no such compensation handed out for technical difficulties, that are of DBO G's control.

As soon as the administrator is made aware of the problem he is working very hard to fix and solve the issues so that you all can get back to Dragon Ball Hunting and Farming as soon as possible!

We appreciate your enthusiasm with playing Dragon Ball Online Global, and for the latest news and updates please be sure to check the announcements section of our discord!

    DBO G Team

Greetings Dragon Ball Online Global Community,

Due to the significant number of reports and complaints that the DBO G Team receive every week, it has been decided that there will be new rule(s) set in place in regards to Dojo Wars.

The following rule(s) will be added to DBO G's Game Policy:

    • No guild is allowed to abuse the dojo war system by creating fake (or alternate) guilds to challenge themselves under any circumstance. This means that no guild is allowed to disrupt the dojo application process by creating another guild (or having their friends challenge them).

Any guild caught breaking this rule, will risk having their guild and the alternate guild deleted, along with the guild leader behind these fraudulent (false) wars will be suspended.

It has been decided that all dojo wars must be fought in a fair manner and defended correctly each week.

Game Masters will be spectating all dojo wars from now on to ensure that a fair fight is in order.

Please note: A guild with 60 active members (for example) is allowed to split into 2 guilds and fight for two different dojos simultaneously. If your guild is strong enough to defend two dojos simultaneously, then that is fine.

If you believe an alternate guild is used to defend a dojo in an unfair manner, please feel free to submit a ticket along with screenshots. The ticket will be reviewed by DBO G Staff and if the guild that is caught abusing the dojo application system is found guilty, they will be punished accordingly.

    Thank you for your attention.

    Regards.

    Hello,

It already violates DBO G's Game Policy if a player is using multiple accounts to farm for medosa points in ranked matches (if you suspect a player is farming medosa points with themselves, then please create a ticket and post evidence).

However, to prevent players from using multi clients in Budokai, Scramble, and Dojo cannot happen, as it will be too hard to monitor and track down which players exactly are multiclienting. If multiclienting is allowed for PVE, then it has to be enabled for PVP too. There is no inbetween.

Besides, if a player is multiclienting in Dojo, then that can be seen as a disadvantage since one player is inactive in the war, so how exactly is it an advantage over a guild with active 30/30 members?

In terms of budokai a player can only really dual client in prelims, and then past that they will fail. And in Scramble a player can use it for buffs.

This thread will be closed, thank you for submitting your suggestion.

    Hi,

This thread will be locked, as it has no real purpose but the sole intent to troll other members/guilds.

    DBO G's Forum Policy states:

    • Do not submit “trolling” posts or threads. We define “trolling” as commenting in a manner intended to elicit overly strong negative and emotional responses for mere shock value, attempting to derail threads, persistently posting off-topic, or engaging in personal attacks on another forum member.

    Hello,

This player has already been permanently suspended on all accounts as they were previously caught by a member of the DBO G Team with using illegal software (botting).

In the future please report players through the ticket system only instead of creating a thread.

This thread will now be closed.

You guys have shown you're willing to stray from retail whenever you want, which a fixed rate and needing RP to counter(which completely justified an 80% counterrate) is nothing like retail, mind you. But when it's suits you, you pull the "it's like retail" card to justify a nerf directed at a class that absolutely didn't need nerfing? And where'd you get the "defense rate barely had an impact on counterrate" idea from? I said it was an initially low chance to counter WITHOUT defense rate.

You act like Defense rate was such a useful stat in retail, which top tier player built gear with and around Defense rate again? Oh yeah that’s right, none. Because stacking Defense rate wasn’t considered to be useful.

It’s always been a stat that has had minor impact, and yes even if you stack defence rate it still wouldn’t turn you into a countering machine even back in retail.

And yes, we will refer back to retail when we want to because if something was more balanced or more efficient/effective in retail then we will refer to it. This was one of those cases.

The statistics in DBOG don't show SM being OP with this at all.

The only route that could've lead up to this path is a certain dev member getting a vendetta against some Swordsman who beat him with this. There are so many serious balance issues in DBOG, yet THIS is what struck you as a problem. That's what we call bias.

Stop with the assumptions. It was changed because countering occurred more frequently than retail, and for no other reason.

The counter rate was changed because it was too high compared to retail. A successful counter to land would occur less frequently and not come 80% of the time.

It’s only considered a “nerf” in DBO G due to the change but some of the DBO G Staff including myself felt it was occurring too frequently to the point where it felt like it was more than retail (you said it yourself, counters only have a low chance that increases with the more defence rate you have...but even then it still wasn’t by much).

    ......

Players take ultimates for dungeons because of the buffs they give. Not because of movement speed aligning with spin. Even before that update ultimate's would still be a core class in the eyes of the community due to the update requiring to take an ultimate into dungeons so you have their buffs.

Attack speed only is supreme because it's the most time efficient method, but every class is still capable of doing PVE.

Blame the community, not the game.

So what you are effectively against is buff synergy? Welcome to Dragon Ball Online, or MMO's in general, where Buffs can increase the effective power of a class that is not in their skill set.

    Buff synergy for example:

    • FN6JdLS.png  + lUenvrP.png  Are both two buffs that work exceptionally well for Fighters 11_small.png who choose to run a dex/crit based gear.
    • gbTzyTE.png + piXgpCv.png Both stack well for shadow knights 19_small.png who run LP%/properties gear.
    • v7yE4OC.png + RY9Q77x.png Both are buffs that work in synergy for plasmas 16_small.png who run energy crit based gear.

    And now your concern is:

    • XjpzEqQ.png + aArBmkp.png That are buffs that will work in well with mighty majins (more specifically, ultimate majins 15_small.png) that run movement speed gear?

You do realize that you are one of the only members who is going frantic over movement speed gear making spin a little more viable and giving the skill/class more mobility.

    Not to mention:

Aligning movement speed to effect spin is a small minor tweak/adjustment, and is not considered a huge issue. It hasn't drastically impacted PVP or PVE, the update just helps mighty majins deal a little extra damage for those who choose to wear movement speed gear.

It's not a big deal and it's not exactly game changing.

Besides, reading through the thread, you can see that small tweak to spins is positively well received by the community.

Of course with the current imo bad changes they are necessary, but again why the restrictions?

Why are people forced to take a buffer into their party, thats upright dumb

    Hello,

The buffing mechanic was altered and adjusted for the following reasons:

    • It did not make much sense for a party to take a whole part of the ultimate/chef skill set (the core buffs which is arguably the most important part of the skill set) without these classes being present inside the actual dungeon.
    • Many players who mained buffing classes complained that they were useless due to everyone leveling up their own personal private buffer
    • This was to help encourage a more different variety of classes within parties to be formed instead of the generic shadow knight, poko, dende, karma + extra standard party.

Many players felt other classes were abusing the duration of the ultimate and chef classes, which was why some members of the community demanded for this mechanic to be changed.

This is the part where it’s time for this thread to close because members are starting to flame/insult each other.

The members who were flaming have been warned. Please remember forum rules and don’t let guild drama/rivalries interfere with threads.

It’s nice to see players achievements but when toxicity starts to spill in these threads it’s a signal that they shouldn’t be open anymore.

    Hi,

Back in retail DBO it was easier to have +15 low level items, it was not uncommon. There were many players who were successful in upgrading low level gear due to the time token shop, so it’s not really a problem.

It was already experiemented with the time token system for players to only gain tokens while remaining active and not AFK. This did not work and proved to be an insufficient fix due to the following reasons:

    • Players still found alternative methods to farm tokens to bypass this new system. This increased the amount of botters, and players using macros/keyboard bindings on the server.
    • The token system is meant to be DBO G’s reward system. The reason why players can obtain crystals and other items through the token shop is because the team made the decision of not implementing the web depot feature so the time token system is meant to compensate for that.
    • There were a number of complaints that we recieved as to why this system was unfair and how players were not recieving tokens.

It was due to these reasons why it was scrapped altogether, and the new time token system was implemented (which currently depends on the players level which equals to how many tokens they receive).

Players now do not receive as many tokens on low level characters.

Bringing back the broken card to how it was like in retail, I feel neutral about this idea.

On one side, pre open beta was a mess. Players were running around with +15 gear and high upgrades like it was nothing. If the broken card was around it would have most likely prevented players from achieving this, and would have been for the better.

We do not want another pre open beta server to come about, that is by far the worst possible scenario.

However, with that being said, in Dragon Ball TW, HK and KR, players (especially free to play players) were afraid and didn't bother upgrading. It was way too risky, and was in all honesty more of a gamble then trying to pull rank 1 out of the wagu machine, which was why the system was originally changed to begin with.

Although with the new time token system, it is easier for players to be able to upgrade and obtain stones now, so it does balance out. In DBO G it is easier to obtain crystals overall.
