    Hi,

Dragon Ball Online Global is in Open Beta phase which is still a development stage in which bugs can occur.

This will not happen and the team will not be handing out compensation every time there is a set back.

Unfortunately there will be situations that may arise that are unpredictable, players just have to accept this and remember the team is trying our best to work on a solution while keeping up frequent communication with the community.

This thread will now be closed.

    Hi,

In your post it’s hard to tell which Dragon Ball Event you are referring to.

In Dragon Ball Online there are two dragon Ball Hunt events:

Dragon Ball Hunt: A PVE event that only grants tier 2 wishes

Dragon Ball Scramble: A PVP event where there is only 7 dragon balls on the map and you have to fight other players (you need to join this event)

If you are referring to Dragon Ball Hunt, then you must have a scouter with the dragon ball radar function. Once you have this scouter in order for Dragon Ball Monsters to appear you must kill monsters within 5 level of your current level.

For example, if you are level 40 you can kill monsters that are level 35 - 45. If you kill a monster that is level 34 dragon balls will not be able to drop.

In order to see dragon ball monsters you also must start killing normal monsters in which monsters will appear on your mini map. When a dragon ball monster appears on your mini map (the top right map) then that means that monster has the potential to drop a dragon ball, you are not guaranteed to drop one.

    Hi,

Sorry but there is no plans to let players change their names so freely like that. It’s not going to happen and in most MMO games they don’t allow players to change names so easily.

If you would like to change your name then you must do so by purchasing a name change book off the cash shop, and you can change it how often you like (as long as the name you want is available).

    Hi,

The token shop (and how players earn tokens) is currently in the process of being adjusted so that it will be similar to the old system but distributed differently so that low level characters (such as level 1 characters) cannot farm tokens as easily.

The token system was originally changed so that players who ran multiple clients on many different accounts would not be ahead of others who can only run one client.

The team did not want to remove multi clienting altogether as we understand many players do like this feature, and as Kirito said there will always be a way to bypass it.

Players would commonly use the argument "It's not our fault that my computer can run X amount of clients" however the team felt statements such as these certainly are not reasonable grounds as to why other players should be more privileged and have more of an advantage over those players who cannot dual client.

    Hi,

Due to the nature of this thread and the amount of posts that were just deleted (due to violating DBO G’s forum code of conduct), this thread will now be closed and the members who broke the rules have been warned.

On the topic of The Dragon Ball Hunt Event there is going to be an upcoming update that will be announced by the DBO G Staff in relation to Dragon Ball hunting sometime in the near future, so stay tuned for that announcement.

"- <Tournament> Since there are so many people wanting to participate in the Tournament, I've made a change, that people with the most ranking points will be able to enter. Please note that this only applies to the solo tournament."

Why this? Just why? So, now people who only wants to play Budokai and not ranked need to play ranked to have a chance to participate? This is just stupid.

Why change something nobody complains in the original DBO? Now people need to keep doind CC battle all days to farm ranking points and play in the Budokai. Who can only play a little time per day and weekends? People who doesn't like CC Battle and likes Budokai? You guys realy think before change something in the game or just throw the first thing that comes to your mind?

This new system was planned by the DBO G Staff months in advance, in which it was mentioned in the Open Beta 2018 FAQ, so the idea and feature wasn't exactly created "on a whim".

There are plans to hopefully implement a new system that will connect and tie in ranked matches to budokai.

However, to answer your question directly, players who reach level cap will still have the advantage at winning. If a low level player wants to succeed in adult budokai, then they must level up for a more fair chance at winning. This will remain the same, just like in retail.

Just increase the number of people who can enter into the preliminary and call the first people to apply until the spots are over. Who enters fight, who doesn't try again next week. My God.

Before Open Beta, it was predicted that there would be issues with the preliminary round and it's exceeded capacity (due to the high server population). Obviously increasing the number of participants each round was experimented with and was tested because this would have been the easiest solution, in which it was found to be impossible as it would crash the client. The client in regards to budokai can only fit so many participants.

    Hi,

Instant transmission only teleports your to your friends and not to teleport points. Your friends must be on the same channel as you, and they cannot be inside instances (such as TMQ, UD, CC dungeon, ranked match or budokai).

This thread has been reopened and the member who was derailing the thread has been warned.

    Please stay on topic everyone.

Back to the actual topic about alt guilds challenging Dojos, this has unfortunately always been an on-going issue ever since retail (DBO TW, KR and HK).

Personally I never liked the idea of alt guilds being able to challenge their dojo and it was a problem that NTL should have addressed early on.

I remember back in DBO TW it at one stage became that bad that there was one native TW guild (nicknamed the red guild) in server 2 that owned all 7 dojos due to alt guild spamming. It was horrible and set the trend of other guilds mimicking the idea and it was always a race of which alt guild could apply first.

Now in DBO G the staff have tried to prevent the issue as much as possible:

    • Implementing the guild limit and level limit (this was done in pre open beta, where guilds needed a certain amount of level 70 players online). This method proved to be ineffective and players still managed to maintain dojos with “Alt” guilds.
    • A guild cooldown was put into place so that players can’t freely move between guilds when the event started.
    • Declining was removed entirely. So far this has been the best solution as now guilds don’t have the opportunity to pick their opponent, and have less control over the outcome of the challenge process itself. This makes it more fair and interesting.

The alt guild problem with guilds challenging themselves actually is harmful to the Dojo War event itself, for the following reasons:

    • Players start to lose interest in Dojo wars. If a guild challenges themselves over time it becomes boring and repetitive to the point where other guilds are tired of trying to challenge them.
    • Players in the guild (that owns the dojo) start to lose interest and not bother fighting for their guild because no fight is occuring.
    • Overtime the event participation diminishes due to the reasons listed above, in which players stop partaking in the event entirely.

Hopefully there will be more of a solution to be discovered and discussed among the team on how to resolve this problem before another DBO TW Dojo War dilemma occurs.

On a positive note, at least due to the big success of server activity and player base (of open beta) this hasn’t been such a big issue yet.

    Hi Jinrei,

When a member has been temp banned it means they have accumulated enough warnings that the system automatically bans that member.

A member can receive different warnings in different threads, but if they are given enough then they are banned.

There were other members in that thread that received warnings, but since they do not have many they were not banned (the system did not ban them).

Hopefully that clears up for you why that specific member was banned.

If you want to trash your dogi feel free to do so. It's your item. That's not going to convince anyone that you should be given extra items.

This thread will now be locked as the main points were covered in this post. Yes some founders might be dissatisfied, but the DBO G Team at this point in time will not adjust the founders packs. There is no point in further discussion of this topic since nothing is going to be changed and the decision has been made.

It has been discussed by the DBO G Team and at this stage founders will not be receiving any extra items or privileges, for the following reasons:

    • As far as the DBO G Team is concerned, founders already did receive what was promised to them, with extra also included. It's quite ironic to see how many founders who are complaining seem to be ungrateful and forgot the fact that they were able to reserve names, which was also included in the package. Reserving names itself was a huge privilege that was not originally planned for founders, but it was awarded to them out of the generosity of Daneos.
    • It was never specified what exclusive dogi founders would receive. If you aren't happy with the dogi, then tough luck. That promise has been fulfilled on DBO G's end, with also Krilin founders who were also awarded an exclusive dogi (which was added in), as originally there were not going to receive a dogi at all.
    • The DBO G Team decided to revoke the auto potions and EXP scrolls as they were added into the time token shop instead. This is why other items and privileges were added in, to compensate for the players who did want those items. You can still obtain them from the time token shop, as normal.
    • Wagu coins were provided as due to the old system, it was not possible to award founders the extra CP. It's been stated by the DBO G Team on numerous occasions that awarding the CP was not possible and the Wagu coins were added to compensate.
    • Yes, some of the original Founders packs were slightly adjusted, but more than enough was given to compensate.

As far as the DBO G Team is concerned, the chapter of Founders is closed. We do thank founders for the support, contributions and generosity that they gave throughout the project, but the promise has been delivered.

Now, individual members will be addressed:

Sirab - You are not a founder, and due to this fact alone, it means that the posts and opinions you have been expressing on the subject of founders "being ripped off" means absolutely nothing and is irrelevant.

Jonbradburn - Krillin Founders were awarded more items than necessary (despite this being the cheapest package that was offered). If you are not satisfied with this, then that's your own belief, however nothing will be done. Accept the krillin pack as it is and move on.

Amr - You were promised a dogi, in which you received. The type of dogi was never specified (as stated above).

KamiRamin - No one "made you pay for a founders pack". That was your decision. Most of the founders are actually satisfied with their rewards. You and a select few individuals are not satisfied, but nothing can be done. It is hard to please everyone. You also forgot to include the name reservations, in which Super Saiyan Founders were able to reserve 3 names of their choice.

Each Dragon buff increases 20% of the respective stat while activate on your character.

And here is a list of what the stats do:

    Hi,

Obviously players are going to prefer a further range/radius for quests to count as this makes questing easier and more convenient. It was a bug, and logically made no sense for quests to count from such a distance. Parties are meant to stay together and not far apart.

Yes it was not game breaking but that doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t have been fixed.

Z20 inventory space bags was intentionally made so that players can store more items, and is a completely different situation.

    Hi,

It was a bug and was never intentionally implemented into DBO G for players to quest far away from their friends without being in the same vacinity.

Honestly it’s surprising that players didn’t report this earlier. Players could receive quest kills while being on different map or far away from their party members. When this was discovered (by myself) it was reported in and fixed as soon as possible, as in original DBO this did not happen.

The range is now similar to the retail version of Dragon Ball Online, which is why it was set to 100 metres.

    Hi,

As long as trade and LFG/LFP chat is used for it’s intended purpose (and what is said does not violate DBO G’s Game Policy), then players are more than welcome to use it.

Players are welcome to speak any language, it is not English only.

However, trade and LFG/LFP chat is heavily regulated and if a player is found to use this chat to violate the Game Policy then they will be punished in accordance to DBO G’s Offense Penalty System (depending on the rule that is broken) by a GM.

If you see a player violate DBO G’s Game Policy (with any flaming, illegal activity etc) feel free to take a screenshot and submit a ticket. The ticket will be reviewed by DBO G Staff and action will be taken (if required).
