    You tell me it was easy to get 20 boxes daily, that means in a big scale people had no need to buy gear as they can simply get boxes? No, that means cashers could still get the boxes, as there is a supply and demand system in the market.

    You got +11 set with $300 donation, I wasted 4.2 BILLION zeni in stones very recently and I got nothing out of it. If someone knows the upgrade system is rng, that's the core point. Doesn't matter if it's RNG or not, if stones are dropping a lot, bots get stones, farmers get stones, and cashers get zeni, it really adds up if you think about it.

    Why farm if you can cash? Why cash if you can buy stones from bots?

    If you SERIOUSLY think that the only thing the game needs to change is the community, then you should play DBOG more, because the game is lowkey f-cked buddy.

    This thread was not made to add another one to the collective of "omigad dbog sax men" threads, this is a "sign" of how thing actually work now, and what should be done to resolve these issues.

    First, the balancement.

    It's a somewhat known fact that balancement and the team is a somewhat meme amongs the players by now, because some stuff makes no sense. This is not the core issue here, the core issue is that someone picked a handful of players, from which not even all are "expert players" and they decide or have the "bigger word" in a game which is played by hundreds to this day.

    The issue is that the staff doesn't seem to care about the player's opinions at ALL, we have NEVER seen a thread made by ANY staff member looking for feedback about the idea, if you would make a thread asking us if fighter invincible buff was a good idea, and THEN listen to what we have to say, the opinions of the players wouldn't be as bad as it is right now.

    You want to make the game balanced, fair enough, but you don't give a sh1t about the opinions of the ACTUAL players, those who will ACTUALLY have to live with your decision, and as you can clearly see, some of these "decisions" make us not trust you at all, nor play the game at this point. The game is slowly but surely dying, which you obviously know by now.

    Second, the insane amount of gear that ruined the in-game balance.

    Ever since DBOG was a thing, people cried about upgrades, bugs, +15masterrace, and the other garbage that makes an infinite loop of arguing between F2P and P2W players, now I didn't start this to support one or another, the issue is, take a look at any good skilled player, and then take a look at someone who donated $300+, I can 90% guarantee you that these players in-fact have superior gear to others, Gears that actually could be kept by them forever, as Lv70 gear doesn't change much.

    I honestly think that Daneos should do a "restart" and wipe everything again, refund the spent CP, decrease stone drop chance to the half of this, make broken give -2 to -6 randomly, and lets start with a fresh card.

    Third, the monotonity of the game.

    As of now, what we can do is TMQ1 to 7, UD1 to 6, CC 1 to 100, and that's about it. Not let's break this down.

    UD1 to 3 is only for leveling, once you reach 60, you won't ever want to return there.

    UD4-6 should be there for the good glove or subweapon drops, but they rarely drop.

    CC1-100 is limited to classes that the community prefers, which is Ultimate, Turtle, Poko, Karma, Dende, rarely Chef and if the fighter is a good friend of the party OR pays the ticket, then a MA class can join too. Rest of the classes are not "welcome", and even if they ARE welcome, it changes the structure of the run, which makes it slower, which makes the party not want to do anything with a DW or Plasma for example.

    The game is boring, you removed our chance to do BID2-3-4, even though lv60 players are way more than enough to do them, you could have just simply turned drops off, or make them drop lv60 accessory, it wouldn't be even hard, just simply replace the lv70 drops with shenron lv60 accessories on legendary drop, it wouldn't matter once 70 cap comes, so why not? Why not make the players be able to run lv70 dungeons if they are capable of doing so? It's not related to the actual story, and it's originally startable from lv1, so that just makes no sense.

    Fourth, the unfair pvp system.

    As of now this is already a known fact that some players who shall NOT be named used critical bugs in order to win tournament, bugs that are acknowledged by the staff, also KNOWN who did them, yet no punishment was given out. Even on those who were punished, they were randomly forgiven and they are still doing the same thing over and over again, why? I fail to understand why the players who obviously break the rules, makes the game not-fun for others have the edge over those who play fairly.

    I don't care if you ignore my thread, this sub-forum is for feedback, and this is not only my feedback, this feedback is from the playerbase you have, which you fail to treat equal to those who donated $1000 or more.

    Hi. I've been recently working at a DBOG bot that helps the community, but since I am not allowed to advertise my server, I guess it would be better to give access to others to my work.

    The bot currently only has an automatic response feature that works similar to mee6, however, mee6 is pretty unstable and has latency / character limit issues, while mine does everything instantly without any flaws.

    Thank you for clearing up some of the doubts I had, glad to see a response with actual argument. I myself have an Ultimate majin, but I truthfully found it really boring after a while, as I am only very experienced with Turtles, hence why I used turtle as an example instead of anything else (because if you remember, I played male turtle for years).

    Turtles might have other advantages such as slow and kd, but KD requires RP, slow can be eaten (with cd rp also even faster) and a male turtle bleeds out there. Females are different story, I give you that. But we have to consider all outcomes, not only potential ones.

    Even though I was very sceptical on why is Skedar in the balancement team, I always admired that he really pays attention to every single small thing in the game.

    Cashalot The issue people having is the way to counter them. You call us bad at the game, you make it seem like we are worms compared to you just because we don't reach as high as you. Bare in mind that while YOU as an ultimate majin had no issues getting full +15 CC100 massively boxed sets, a DW / Plasma / Crane / Chef might have some issues having.

    This game is NOT only about PvP, you have Budokai and Scramble, both dead at the moment, because scramble is not even fun with the low amount of players, and Budokai is 60% of the time having someone who crashes the opponent, that was proven yesterday.

    You said that a turtle with lots of focus and 2 sets can beat an ultimate, fair enough, if you have successrate, you're godlike, so that way i'd actually replace 1 focus armor with a successrate necklace, though. You YOURSELF made it seem like that it's easy as that, but is it? Turtles have hard time having balanced defense against an ultimate, because you can snap out from stun, you can start spinning if you see the sleep animation, you can eat the debuffs you have (also spam this with CD) and also have 2 KD moves without having to ruin your build, while a male turtle has to actually hit these debuffs to stand a little bit of chance. What if the turtle is massively maxed with focus and still you manage to resist a stun or sleep? The game is over.

    What if you fail a candy or a cluster and the turtle survives for 10 sec longer? Nothing, because the arsenal, defense, and attack varies you have is way too high compared to almost every other class.

    Oh and also if you see the turtle casting sleep, you can time it just right and start spinning before it finishes, so you also wasted one of the core debuffs for a turtle.

    You also said that every class has a weak spot that can be abused. Fair enough, but ultimate has the capablity to abuse those even harder, than any of them abusing ultimate, that's where your logic is flawed.

    An ultimate with a gear like YOURS should 90% of the time win EVERY 1v1, don't be delusional and think that we have the exact same gear set as you. The ones who have been able to beat you are either similar or close as geared as you, being able to hit strong crits on you.

    I know for a fking fact that you will quote this message and try to justify how godlike you are compared to me, as you do with everyone else, but I really really have to quote this :

    How about you finally get down from your massive horse and instead of pretending to be god of DBO you actually understand that nobody agrees with you. The reason why ultimates are godlike in pvp is because they can get capped lp% with having lots of LP, meaning it takes forever to kill them (even if possible in the first place).

    Ultimates have a spin that can deal incredible damage even if you have full +13-14 tmq7 physical gear, meaning a human can only stand a chance if they stack anticandy, which means loss of successrate or props in the easiest way,

    Ultimates can tank, can use both energy and physical damage, can take crits like its nothing, can eat debuff, can remove bleed, they're nearly impossible to kill in 1v1, then you have the dignity to brag with you being the only ultimate who won solo budokai? Skedar think of other people too for once, I know that your ego grew out of your head long time ago, but it's finally time to realise that ultimates are WAY too strong compared to other classes.

    Personally I feel like it became way too easy to get dragon balls, but hey, it's just my two cents.

    As for you being disappointed by the dragon balls not being puked by lv1 mobs, you should question yourself, if you even hunt dragon balls the proper way.

    The reason why Daneos didn't comment on it, is because people fail to realise that dragon balls are not guaranteed drops, they're RNG based, just like stones, and almost everything that you get from drops.

    Pull a group of mobs, kill them, wait for respawn, repeat, that's how you farm DB. My personal record was 33 dragon balls within 4 hours, so yes, it became way too easy.

    Removing the skill resets would make the game way too hard for someone who does PvP and PvE at the same time fluently.

    Turtle for example doesn't need sleep for PvE, but PvP wise it can be very very important, same goes for self healing, rod hurt, etc. Ultimates don't need candy for pve, and the list goes on and on.

    We are already limited to 1 reset / week, and using in-game economy is probably not a good idea, because the economy can go very deep, or skyrocket depending on 1 update.

    Perhaps if we got the chance to stack SP reseters (brown book) from dungeon rewards, just like seal coins, it would make sense to remove green books.


    Upgrading has been a concern of majority of the playerbase for quite a long time now, and people seem to have the wrong idea regarding the whole system, so let me clarify some points.

    Now, people seem to have the wrong idea on how white stones work, some people claim that White stone decreases the success chance, which is false, it has been confirmed by Daneos that White stone does NOT affect the upgrading.

    When you use a white stone, there is no penalty if you get "Failed", and there is a -2 downgrade if you get broken.

    Some people also claim that you cannot get success by clicking the right card, which is also wrong, because I myself got +15 only by clicking the right card, every single time. (i should have made a gif, i know, kek.)


    The minigame was coded in a way to show you "success" on either left or middle if you get failed or broken, it will never show success on the right side (unless you actually get success.)

    People also claim to have 1/3 chance of upgrading at any grade, which is also wrong, here is the official percentage list provided by a Hardlock

    Now let's say you have a +10 weapon, it means that you have 10% chance to get a success, also a 33.33% (because purple stone can give +1 or +2 or +3) chance to get +13.

    When you have 10% chance, you can count it as a ticket system in lottery. Let's say you have 100 tickets, and only the first 10 tickets are the winners, and the machine will randomly generate a ticket number from 1 to 100, this is the "basic" way to understand this, because some people even claimed to have found a "bug to upgrade".

    Clicking a card will just generate a number, it doesn't matter if you keep clicking the same or change everytime.

    Most of the players who already have +11-12 gears probably knows this, this thread was not made for you. This thread was made solely to clear up some wrong """facts""" such as having 1/3 chance everytime, or the right card never giving success.

    watch out how milions of players coming back for lvl cap and making these channels full again, why you dont want be clever game in current state is mistake is not mainly about the fakin cap I like how ppl think that lvl cap will fix everything XD

    Yes, new cap means more content, which means more players. The fact that majority of the playerbase of DBOG comes from retail versions, means that the players look for content that were in level 70. The BID2-3-4 farming, CC, working around with other stuff, these are all level 70 content.

    DBO TW was worse than DBOG update wise, yet they had a good amount of players regardless of the game being chinese, and that was on two servers, not one.

    If Daneos can actually keep his promise to change the stuff in-game, I can see the channels having a lot of people again, just like it was in 45-55 cap.

    Honestly, I've been thinking about this a lot aswell lately. I returned to the game after months of being away from DBO, and I noticed the incredible drop of playerbase.

    Majority of the playerbase probably will return as DBO most of us know is DBO with level 70 cap, and 60 is a massive failure as of now in terms of content. It's basically a lv55 cap with having more speed and better armors / weapons / accessories + 1 TMQ +1 UD.

    I've been checking the channel panel quite often recently and there been times when a channel was COMPLETELY empty, but channel 0 (main channel) always seems to have atleast a quarter filled, so assuming the channels are for 500 players, we can safely assume that 125 players are online at a time, now adding up the other channels too, i'd say 250-300 probably.

    Rest is really just a plus/minus thing, as a staff member will probably not disclose how many players are online from different IPs, but if I had to take a wild guess, it would be 170-190 unique players.

    That is a MASSIVE drop, even compared to pre-open beta, which was another shi*fest.
