I don't think the Options save to the user's Config files at the moment or at least, it doesn't save to mine.
EDIT: Apologies, it does save. I just never noticed it until now (Because it doesn't close on save). Look in the SystemEnv, EFFECT_VOLUME is Sound Volume in the Options
The point of a vote is to determine which one the community likes the most. While it may not be good design work to you, it could be to everyone else. Naturally, the one with most votes would win and is preferable over the others. I believe the Launcher should be flashy, original, and not a copy&paste. That being said, I respect whatever decision the staff makes. When the game launches, what the Launcher looks like means nothing to me really.
Most of my time will be spent in-game, not looking at the launcher.

I know in some games, the Channel size limit is around 500. To fix your problem, you may need to make more channels. You actually may already know this.
