Seems to be when the game pops up with a dialogue window, or if there's any change to the GUI scale due to going full screen. It doesn't SEEM to be the server connection, but I can't be sure.

There is often no sound, but sometimes there is. The game loads in fine when it works, and I can move around and interact with the world just fine. The issue tends to happen when I interact with something that brings up a window, where the game usually freezes. It'll stay hung like that for several minutes, then pop up with a blank error box, and then clicking on the box causes it all to close. I've tried rebooting, as well as whitelisting in the firewall and running in admin mode...
