It would add to the amount of people that could play if you made a download for mac i don't know why this hasn't happened (won't work ?) yet but it limits who can play it and i don't want to start a whole war about mac users being able to play or not play but it frustrates me to no end that this game is only for windows users.

I'm pretty sure that the original game was never even released on Mac, therefore it's not very likely to happen for a long time, if ever. With no ground work done for porting it over, they're going to have to port it over all from scratch, assuming they even have a developer that specializes in Mac OS's. They'll need to get the game finished as is before even considering porting it over, so don't count on it for a very long time.
