I will probably just find another game to play. Based on what I've read, this happens quite often. No fun spending more time waiting to get into a game than actually playing it :-/ Maybe I will see you if/when a polished version is released.

I also just downloaded DBO. I was really excited to play, but had several errors while installing the game. After working through them all, I finally got the game started. It took almost 2 hours to get registered for everything and to get all files working properly (watched lots of youtube videos and read lots of threads).

The character creation feature is fun to play with-- lots of options. Unfortunately, however, this is the extent of gameplay that I have gotten to experience. Nearly 2 hours invested in attaining DBO, and I cannot even get past the character screen. There is 1 channel that says "not busy", but I can't seem to join it. I understand the nature of Beta testing, but for all my time and effort (not being a computer guru, I had to burn some brain cells to get this to work) I ended up with a game that I can't even play. Disappointing.

Before anyone decides to blast me with orders to be patient, consider the fact that most of you at least know what you are waiting for. I haven't even seen gameplay yet. I haven't been hooked yet. I don't even know yet if this game is any fun past the character creation. In fact, if I knew beforehand that I would be downloading a large file just for creating my own DBZ looking characters, I would have just gone with some silly app on my iphone. So, hopefully this gets fixed soon...right now it feels like I just wasted a bunch time, energy, and storage space on my laptop.
