I have my windows in german so I think the feature is called realtime protection in english. When we disabled it all of our lags were gone and everything worked perfectly.

To disable it do the following steps (the texts on the images are in german):

Step 1: Go to Settings

Step 2: Go to Update and Security Image here

Step 3: On the left side select Windows Defender

Step 4: Press the button "Open Windows Defender Security Center" Image here

Step 5: Virus and Threat Protection (not sure if this name is right) Image here

Step 6: Settings for Virus and Threat Protection Image here

Step 7: Disable Realtime Protection Image here

Let me know if it worked for you.

P.S. until now it worked for 4 of our guild members.

Update:

Maybe some of you guys noticed it already. After some time the real time protection will be activated automatically. There are 2 options to disable it or more like there is one option to disable it and one to deactivate it. If you disable it you will still have the freezes. So you need to deactivate it and to do that do the following:

Deactivate Automatic Activation Of Real-Time-Protection

1. Press Windows + R

2. Type gpedit.msc Image here

3. On the left side go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Defender Antivirus > Real-time Protection Image here

4. On the right side search for "Turn off real-time protection" and double click it

5. Select "Activate / Activated" Image here

So I got stopped at the gpedit part. My computer apparently doesn't have gpedit.

Hello everyone. I played about a year or 2 ago (mid 2017-early 2018). Didn't get that far. I think I was like lvl 34 after the wipe. cant remember the password to my main account I guess ill us my other accounts and make a new character.
