For ssjg you should require 6 saiyans and the one who knows the technique, gain the transformation. Thats normal and all but my theory is after you revert to normal. After the first transformation into ssjg, your base form should be boosted, making you stronger (since you unlocked god ki) but you cannot transform into ssjg without the ritual until you have mastered it enough or are the right level.
