Yess, you have made me see once again, wuhuu! Thanks Verdant, you're the best!!
Yeah, you are exactly right. 156 current recipes, with space for 44 new ones.
Thank you for all of your help, I truly appreciate it! ☻

Okay, cool.

Verdant, a completely off-topic thing I was wondering, and hope you will answer for me (as I couldn't find the answer anywhere) is, what exactly does 2.0 entail, when you release it? I know there won't be any new and juicy content, which I am totally fine with, and in fact, I one hundred percent agree and support, that the game should be bug-free, stable and quality of life-filled before any of that! But what I am really wondering is, whenever you write that you are squashing bugs galore for the 2.0, do you mean bugs of the current client that we all play, such as that weird spinning to the right thing when your flight starts to accelerate, the game sound suddenly silences, the display bug where your LP pots and stuff like that won't display the actual current amount you got left, etc? Or are you referring to bugs in the toolkit or program you are making (named 2.0), so you can start to fix all these things? I am very curious of this, and has been for a while.

Hi.
I'm just guessing here, but I think aaa123400 means the same issue I am experiencing (which we chatted about), with the game having 2-3 seconds freezes now and again, on top of the frequent micro stutters. I am also running Windows 11, and I recall you said, that it is client-side; a quirk in the engine, which you will be eventually able to fix. -
Thanks, Verdant.
My character name is Zeox. -
Okay, that sounds great! Although I am excited for the crafting now available to me, I can wait, I was just wondering.
Verdant, please remember to take care of yourself first, we are still here for when 2.0 comes!
Alright, I see. I am sure you will figure something out!
If it's not too much to ask, whenever you feel you have a spare second, before you do the next maintenance, could you please remove some more of my old recipes, so I can have a bit more space for the desired endgame ones? I was thinking old recipes for low level Human and Majin stuff. I would like to keep all the Namekian stuff at least, as well as all of my current max lvl recipes, the U kits and Gem recipes etc. I would much appreciate this! -
Hi Verdant.
I just reached Crafting lvl 35 just now (finally, yess!!!), and I must admit, I am a little excited to finally be able to craft all the stuff, so I was wondering, when are you planning to do the next maintenance? I still can't see my recipes
Is there anything currently you can do to the crafting recipe cap, and if not, do you have plans to increase the cap, or better yet, remove it entirely? I am a collector of sorts, so I would very much like to end up acquiring and learning every single recipe this game has to offer. -
Hi Verdant
Okay, I am very glad about all you wrote, thank you
I am online for the rest of the evening, so I am ready whenever you are! -
Hi Verdant.
I'm opening this thread to continue, and hopefully have fixed this issue with the vanishing (or invisible) crafting recipes once and for all.
So, I have tried all sorts of @clearcache on different channels, in different places, to no avail. I have also updated, repaired the launcher, and even deleted those tan and terrain files in the folder, but still, the recipes remains missing...
I then did a test, and learned a whole new original recipe, and after logging out and in again, that one has vanished too from my list. I have provided pictures of the process as proof, I guess. There is now a good few of my desired recipes that are just gone, and I honestly feel very distraught about this, as these were some I had looked forward to acquiring, getting materials for, and ultimately craft, and ones I spent a fair amount of zeni on, etc...
I hope you can fix this for me. I am honestly bummed out about this whole ordeal.
Also, I have to say, that I felt, that you implied that I lied, when you posted that GIF. I am not sure whether or not this was your intention, but I can assure you, I am not lying, nor would I gain anything from it, or from taking away precious working time from you. I also deeply hate to be a bother to anyone. Likewise, I also wasn't implying that you deleted those recipes or anything; I am simply stating the fact and truth: that they are just gone from my list now. I just felt that I had to post that, to get it off my chest. -
I agree. But I have no doubt in my mind, given time, that you will have made incredible amounts of improvements and additions to this game! I mean, you obviously already have, but with your 2.0 toolkit, oh man, exciting new times ahead!!!
That sounds interesting. I support you, whatever you guys decide is the best choice. Personally, though, I'd rather wait that bit longer, for when you deem it ready for us. Either way, I will gladly find and note down stuff like the above, to help out the best I can. Same goes for bugs and such. -
Hi Verdant.
Thank you very much for getting back to me, I know you are very busy with 2.0, and we all can't wait for you to get it into our hands, so you taking the time to help us guys with various stuff is much appreciated!
I personally haven't experienced the issue with autoattacking, but it makes sense.
I think you are totally right about what you wrote, and while I am not tech-savvy at all, it seems to me, to be indeed some sync error thing. That would also explain why sometimes, the physical-attacking mobs will suddenly ''teleport'' to you from far off in a blink.
Like with the issue I wrote about the micro-stutters, which you eased my mind on, my mind is again at ease thanks to you, as I am glad to read, that it isn't on my end, and that it's something you will be able to fix in the future!
A little 'trick' one can do to alleviate the in-game problem is, as you have used a skill that have a charge-time, immediately after, as you are about to use another skill with a charge-time, you can either hit Tab to change target, or hit R to go out of auto-attack mode, and then you drastically reduce the number of times your character will cancel the active skill you are using and start moving towards your active target. It isn't perfect, it feels a bit clunky in practice, but it does work/help. I hope you can use this info, for when you have finished 2.0, and really have the tools to fix what lies under the hood 😃 -
Hi Verdant.
I am not entirely sure if this is a technical issue or not, but I believe it is, perhaps something to do with server sync or something, I don't know. But I hope that you can help me out with clarifications on the matter; if it is something I can fix, if it is a part of the client, or something else.
So, as a Dark Warrior, whenever I use an AoE skill like Energy Siege to gather the mobs, I dash back to line them all up, use Special Beam Cannon with KD to knock them all down, and then I immediately use Demon Wave on them. But here is where the issue lies, because most often (but not always), my character will start the charge-up timer of Demon Wave, but then automatically cancel the attack/charge-up on its own, and start moving towards my current target, again, on its own. It happens so frequently that it is very disruptive to the gameplay, and I have tested around with this issue, and it all seems fine on my end (eg. it is not a range issue, not related to stutter or game freeze, my timing is perfect on my end, etc.), but my best guess is something server-sync-sided, but I don't know.
It happens most often, if you use a charge-skill like Demon Wave with stuff like increased damage or duration, where you hold down the button for it to activate as you use the skill (I forgot what it's called), on mobs that is out of melee range, but even if you use skills that charge as they are being fired on range (Charged Masenko, for example), and you immediately spam the button for the next attack you want to use, this happens a lot. It just breaks the flow of gameplay and my rotation, and it seems to me it isn't intended to be this way, so I just hope for some clarification and have it explained to me by you. Thanks in advance! -
You're welcome
That would be awesome, but don't stress it, and take your time to perfect it. We can and will wait for it! -
Alright, I understand. Thanks again for your help!
Now I can't wait for the 2.0 client, hehe.
Keep up the good work, and know that it is much appreciated 👍 -
Hi Verdant.
Thank you very much for your answer/help, I appreciate it!
I'm somewhat glad and relieved by what you wrote. Don't get me wrong, the game as is, is playable and all, and you did a great job with all your work, but the stutter is just frequent enough to be noticeable and a bit bothersome after a longer gaming session. Does everyone have these micro-stutters? Just to be crystal clear, I am not talking about the big 1-2 second freeze that happens occasionally, as to my understanding, everyone has that, due to the current client?
In the hopes that there is something I could try until you get the client 2.0 ready -- and by all means, please take your time making it ripe and good -- I will list some of the things I have tried, as well as some of the things I have not tried, in the hopes that some of it could be what solves my issues.
I have: All the files in a folder named DBOG on my desktop.
I have manually installed .Net Framework 3.5 (I had 4.8 natively installed).
My OS is Windows 11 64-Bit with DirectX 12, but I read your debug note about having DirectX 9 installed (which I do not), so not sure how that would work, if it is at all required? I searched the net, but I learned that you can only have one DirectX installed at a time, so I found a program which I have not installed yet, called DirectX End-User Runtimes, but it seems to not be supported on Windows 11, and again, I am not sure if this is even necessary?
I did not manually allow DBOG.exe through any of my antivirus and antimalware programs (I have a few), but nothing flagged the game or anything as malicious (I know that the game can be falsely flagged as a positive), but after I installed .Net Framework 3.5, my Malwarebytes flagged the Dbog.exe file as a malware program. I then manually allowed it through Malwarebytes, but I have not manually done so with my other programs (pre-installed Windows Defender, my Chili antivirus, and Norton Power Eraser), so could that be what solves my issues?
I have tried the guide from your discord about uncapping the fps, as well as the option to make DBOG.exe run at high performance, but could it be a thing with my monitor? I have a 2k 165hz monitor. I tried the fps uncapping method with both 60 fps, as well as my native monitor setting of 165, but still getting 40-50 fps on the average in-game. I also have V-sync turned off in the in-game settings, as my monitor has G-sync natively. Not sure if this is relevant or not, but thought I should write it just in case.
I could list my PC specs, but not sure if that is even relevant?
I have not tried that Large Address Awareness program that was mentioned on the discord, but I read what you wrote about it on there, that DBO doesn't even come close to the need of running that much memory while gaming, so not sure if I should even try that program or not?
That's all that the things I have tried, as well as stuff that I have read about other people have tried, but personally haven't tried yet. Sorry for my wall of texts; I know you're busy, but I just really want to make sure that perhaps it is something small that I could try, to fix the problem. If not, I can surely live with the performance of the game (again, it runs fine, but you know what I mean), but I would really want to have that butter smooth experience. Thanks for your time! -
Hi.
I'm new to this game, having played for a few days now, and thoroughly enjoying the experience so far! However, I keep getting these very frequent micro-stutters in-game whenever I play, as well as having generally low fps in the 40-50's range. My rig is a fairly decent one, and I am using Windows 11 64-Bit. I have been searching here and on the discord for solutions, and I have already tried a good few of them, but nothing has worked so far at all, so I hope that I can get some support and help for stuff that I can try that I haven't, to hopefully have this issue resolved, which would be fantastic!
Edit: The frequent micro-stutters and generally low fps as well as just not running smoothly, is on top of the 1-2 second big freeze that happens every now and again (which I can understand that everyone has?).
