Party buffs register as attacks?

I noticed when playing with a friend when i was on my flying jet if he buffed me it dismounted me saying i was attacked. I dont know why buffs from party members are considered an attack in the first place(possible bug?) but it doesnt make sense to dismount me imho. Is that how its supposed to be? I did not check out getting buffed while flying in the air(hovering obviously) yet but i just wanted to find out if its a bug or is that how its supposed to be.

So to add to this sometimes while i was walking i was getting random notices for things that were not even happening

i thought it might have been something from another party member but this happened before i joined the party too i just didnt think to save the screenies until after
