I mean...NTL had a whole team working on the game, we have Daneos as the Dev. His work is gold. Pure gold to be honest (wish there wasn't any wipe...)

I see that it is very difficult programing the stuff in the tmqs, tlqs, and uds.
So i recall that we will first get the adult quests and master class quests alongside with db hunting and ?bus system? And only after that we'll see tmqs.

A new day is rising and new questions came up amongst me and 3 other friends i have that are interested in buying founders packs.
Without further delay i will post them now:
1) As of now in dev server, is guild vs guild in dojo working?
2) Why is master class/adult quest taking quite a bit of effort and time? Is it hard to script/program? Are you going to put it on dev server once is up?
3) Will we have DB hunt in the dev server prior to launch? Will there be scramble aswell in dev server?
4) Will you ban bugers/crashers?
5) Why is there people at level 71? Or even 70, do they know about the wipe?
6) Tmqs, Tlqs, UDs are in the same priority level in the list? They will take a long time to test possible bugs, and the late ones require level 60+. Do we have player base to test?
7) In the world map there are "tranpaerent" lands that haven't been released in the retail version. Are they going to be shown in later stages of develepoment or in like 3 or 4 years into release?
Thank you all the dbog team, specially Saito and Daneos who have been incredible in bringing back the game that changed us and had a big positive influence on me.
Unfortunately i have very litle time to be on the server as i am in the final year of my masters degree on human resources and i can't help test bugs that much. All i can do is being only on weekends, the rest of the week is quite hard.

1. No that is script system related like DB Event,Tournament Etc.
2. Master Quest is actually finish but the means to completing the quest which is entering an Instance/dungeon. Making action happens. For example Take Open world instance for example, you can join it because all we have to do is teleport you to another map. As for TMQ,TLQ,UD that allows many player to join whenever they want. So you may have 1 Dungeon with 20 different instance with different party of people in it. So why can't this be done easily? For one the script for AI/Monster for dungeon isn't completed. 2ndly it has to be done flawlessly so the server doesn't crash or lag.
3. Anything we need to test will be on Dev Server first.
4. Yes anytime we have proof.
5. Lv 71 is a gm, Lv 70 are people who don't care and don't mind grinding for lvs.
6. TMQ,TLQ, All that jazz are being done at together. Once it's all finish we'll have testing.
7. Actually with my GM commands I have been able to see all location of the game. It consist of gray tiles if incomplete and areas where you aren't allowed to even walk in, but there is asset/building but no NPC. however the only exception is the 2nd part of Papaya island, At the moment I'm 100% sure we can create quest for the 2nd part of the map, however I don't know if we can create new building and asset in other maps. Cause we don't have the retail source we don't know if we are going to be able to edit the map in the future.
I will say this though. We will finish the project as fast as we can. None of us is taking a break, We don't have an excuse to not finish. We're going to delivery a good final result. Even if other's doubt us.
I understand your frustration. Though anything that happens in Dev server should not be a representation of what it's going to be like when we fully release. We fix many bugs already and we'lll fix this one to. Please report bugs in the appropriate section (Founder bug report) instead of doing it here.
As for the buggers I'll warned them aside from that if you know how to dupilicate/cause the crash bug please report it to the founder section so we can fix it.
Display MoreI was playing the other day and was kinda taken by surprise by how much dialog still needed to be converted. I'm not complaining by any means, I understand that it probably took a back burner due to more pressing matters.
I'm not here to gripe about this, but instead I wanted to offer some suggestions regarding this, just incase the translations themselves take longer than anticipated. Perhaps it would be enough to merely create your own dialog to cover the objectives. For most of the quests it is enough to see where your objective is, and go there and fight it. So maybe some dialog created to just cover that, rather than trying to translate the language that is already there.
Of course it would have to be done in character to help the story of DBO, but it's just an idea. Some of the quests have no hints in what they require. These are the ones that don't involve killing mobs. But rather, the ones that explain some of the games core systems. One such quest is the armorer. Eventually through enough deductive reasoning most of these can be figured out but some of them still elude me.
As a final note, it has occured to me that perhaps this issue has been dealt with already, and simply not implemented because the development server seems to be open to all countries. If that is the case I am sorry for wasting your time.
A lot of translation are completed they are not updated on the client you are playing. Translations aren't server side so we can't just update it for you guys to see. It's all in the client.
As for quest translation we are working on finishing up quest item and quest objectives. As for quest text itself there is over 40,000 translation we have not done for the quest. It's quite a bit of effort for 3 people. So first we'll complete the necessary translation needed to play. Then we'll pretty it up afterwards.
However I shall make a thread for player who want to see the newer translation. Once I get some time.
Hope that this time im not making another suggestion which was mentioned before .. Well as you could experience (specially translators) there are sooo much people arround asking for passive skills .. Is there any way to put them for example in the gift box so then the player don't have to be bothering arround and asking GM's to give it them. Yes i am also one of the people without passives after the reset but i think that is good idea do it this way if we cant enter to TLQs.. I hope that noone mentioned this before and that Daneos didn't said anything about this (i used search box to look for similar thread but i didnt find it ) .. So what do you say guys ?

We are currently still deciding on Making a whole new dogi or using the one already in game as founder. We do not know yet, but it will be exclusive either way. However we are not focus on this yet as we are putting all effort into creating the next public test.

The wipe is the big eeason i am holding back, but waiting 5 months more is a pain to me. If we only had a option to keep our characters.
I would pay to keep my character.
Their will be a wipe so all player start on equal footing. At least you know your not waiting another year

I guess I can say the rough estimate, about 3-5months.
Question: Can Every Budokai any other event be stream via the twitch, with some sort of spectator mode?
Once we get near that point we can probably stream the final budokai match. Or we could get a team of spectator who could stream and comment/talk about the tournament like what they do in League of legend tournaments.
We'll see how it goes and how big the fan base get's again.
