Is there any trick to getting to +15? Like a strategy or something or a certain way the cards work for successful upgrades. This is a must know before I start pass +6

No trick at all It's 100% chance based. the card you pick doesn't even matter either. the result is determined as soon as they appear.
You can increase your chances of a successful upgrade by using a white stone but they are cash shop exclusive. other than that you play the game of chance.
