White Square in the place of icons after update

After the last launcher update icons won't show up anymore, instead I now see white squares, tried to extract another copy from the zipped open beta client I had downloaded before and after doing the update I get to the same point

Somehow it doesn't happen to all icons though

Thanks for the kind answer towards such a stupid thread, I was using the old client with the new launcher someone had uploaded to mediafire, just downloaded the new client and now it's working fine.
