Do that and a buffer never gets into Bacterian, Cell or Kraken.

    People will just buff outside.

Ulti has much lower damage than a lot of classes, and so will not be used inside the dungeon.

Im already going to be unable to collect lvl 70 accessories on my fighter because of this absurd 30 second loot rule, don't stop my ulti from farming them also.

As I said, I am done talking to you.

Yes, we should obtain good items and maybe boxes actually by PLAYING, because now you just cant play without cashing. They have everything from wagu, selling boxes and u70. People who actually play cant obtain anything, mostly just cheap white stones. U cant do any tmq 5/6 because they are giving up after ten runs without even legendary item. The most of them said that "dungeons are boring, I dont want to do this". Of course, because they just can buy these items for zeni (selling u70 and boxes, dogi balls). Go and make 200kk zeni without cashing to buy just one fcking attack speed gloves...

To be honest, the dungeons are boring because.

    1) They are extremely basic compared to most MMO's out there.

    2) Are the same dungeons we have been doing since 2010.

On one of your other points:

TMQ 6 is almost impossible to do because everybody just wants to farm the first boss over and over again.

Farming is all well and good, but its not like a fighter is going to be wanted in CC, they aren't even wanted for basic TMQs, most want to use some sort of META.

Also farming random mobs as a fighter yes is easy, however it is even easier and more effective for a turtle to do the same.

The game is geared around ranged damage, and also highely favours AOE. Its total garbage that a turtle hermit can crit for more than a fighter, and at the same time hit 20 mobs in 1 move.

In any reasonable game, AOE damage would be somewhat shared around or mitigated against multiple enemies, or the base potency of the attack would be reduced significantly if it where to hit multiple enemies.

I did CC the other day, and a turtle was one shotting the entire floor for most of the run to 50. I could barely get my Ulti's spin off before the floor was cleared. Who in the hell is going to take a fighter over a turtle.

Guys you should realize that brown boxes are too toxic for the economy. Having alot of brown boxes is bad for the game. It's not important where they are from (Cash shop, PVE).

Simply make them permanently binded and they no longer are.

They where always binded in retail, and as a result nobody could use them as a form of currency.

You where unable to unbind items like brown boxes in retail.

Ok, so I am obviously aware that we have the boss event, all fine and dandy.

What I would like to do, is gauge interest on another type of event (Could be a monthly thing which would kind of tie in with the lore of the event).

Once per month (Possibly Scheduled to coincide with real life full moon schedules) Korin or another city could be raided by high level Supers and Ultras, similar to the soldiers from the Frieza Army, for lore purposes we could say these are working on behalf of the Saiyan race (Time Machines can fix the lore problems here) Upon defeating enough of them a boss is spawned which takes the form of an Oozaru which is stronger than the general world boss which spawns.

Upon defeating this it could give you a potential list of rewards something like:

    A pack of Upgrade Stones

    5 x Dogi Balls

    20 x Brown Boxes

    A Title

You would be able to pick ONE of the above as an example. You would only be able to claim 1 reward per month. And new titles could be added to keep things fresh.

You could also have something similar that spawns Frieza as the boss, same kind of scenario, his army tries to take over Earth etc.

I assume that something like this could realistically be added into the game.

Frankly I don't care about the lore side of any of this, I just want an event that lets us fight stupidly powerful Oozaru's.

my suggestion would be to add them as normal mob drops like u 55 white stones, if they dont want it in cash shop or the event boss is overpriced. if they would add them in dungeons for example we would have the next problem: not every class is welcome in partys .

I like this idea, and its true that a lot of classes have trouble getting into dungeons. My ulti has no trouble, but my better geared fighter can't.

Only issue is 1 white stone is great, it either saves your item from hitting +0 or losing a point if you fail, and if you succeed then you don't care that is wasn't needed.

The problem with brown boxes is that while it only takes 1 box to get what you want, 1 box on its own is almost entirely worthless, you generally need a high quantity to get an acceptable stat.

Perhaps they could increase the drop rate on browns compared to white stones.

    I stand corrected.

Am I reading it right that there is the same chance of me getting a dragon ball to drop as there is of me getting a success card at +11.......

No wonder I keep breaking everything.

I am pretty sure that they have said they won't release such information in terms of success rates.

However, if attempting an upgrade at +10 or more you have a 145,000,000% chance to get the broken card.

If you mean in general then:

The fail card reduces your upgrade by 1 unless using a white stone.

Broken takes the item back to 0 but you don't lose the item like in retail.

Broken with a white card downgrades the item by 2 as opposed to 2- 6 (Always 5 or 6) like in retail.

Turning your opinion into a personal attack is just pathetic.

Your arguments are nonconstructive and poor, and you are completely and utterly missing the point.

You are to caught up in your own interests to see the point being raised here.

I have already suggested they raise the reward for killing the boss, and also adding them to the cc loot table, You obviously scanned right past that.

Selling items for zenie and then buying what you want with it is exactly the thing that has broken this game economy.

Everybody would get bored and stop playing? Like they will anyway a few months after 70 cap. Well as things are now, people may well feel like rage quitting and charging back their purchases because they cant get what they want.

Anyway, I'm done talking to you.

I have already made a comprehensive argumant in a previous thread as to why brown boxes should be added to the cash shop.

    Please add these in.

I can't win them in WAGU, I am just throwing my money away, it is ridiculously unfair that others are winning these things and I am not. This is a massively unfair system.

I am not willing to pay 2kk for 1 brown box, which is what people are asking for due to the demand being hugely more than the supply.

The boss event way of obtaining them is utterly stupid, it is way too expensive. 2 Gold Coins and 500k?????? Seriously?????

When I have been buying them at stupidly inflated prices, I am not getting even remotely acceptable stats.

Being able to buy them directly will help the game economy as demand wont hugely outweigh supply anymore.

You need frigging hundereds if not thousands of these things to do anything with them. Of course somebody will luck out and get what they want in 5 boxes, but lets face it, the chances of getting the exact stat you want is in the thousands.

All of the people who are making significant contributions to this server seem to overwhelmingly support adding brown boxes.

All of the people who are playing for free need to accept that they are only doing so because of the people who are contributing, stop crying.

Add them into the loot table in sensible amounts (10 or 20 etc) in CC Dungeon so there is a % chance of obtaining them to appease non cashers.

Significantly increase the amount you can obtain from the boss event to appease non cashers. They are stupidly overpriced, and what are you going to do with 1 brown box?

Cashers will always be better geared than non cashers in this game. There is nothing that is going to change this. People will use the cash shop to make zenie regardless of what is in there and buy what they want anyway.

Being able to buy them for cash points will allow people a better chance to get what they want for a moderate outlay of cash, rather than the gambling system in place, which seems to be there solely to make as much money as possible with zero care to the balance of the game. It is actually this system that has completely destroyed the economy in the game already, and we are not even out of 55 cap.

Thats kinda the point, I wouldn't have a problem spending even say 300 purples 300 whites if I knew I was going to achieve it. Right now you could be say +14 and after your next 3 roles be back at +8 with white stones.

Even if the -2 on break with white stone was removed, we would at least not be going backwards.

I like this idea. If a white stone removed any negative effect from fail or success that would be awesome.

Except every casher in the game (myself included) would have full +14/15. That would be kind of stupid.

And the game would make less money as there are people out there spending utterly stupid amounts of money to upgrade items that will soon be outdated, so this wont happen. The more broken the system is (And it is very broken) the more money they make.

Maybe a white stone could remove any negative effect from fail or broken and in return lower the success rate?

I like that idea because the single worst thing in this game (Other than fighter v fighter first to crit bs) is investing considerable zenie in an item and going backwards.

    It has always been frustrating.

The problem is that this game really should be called Casino Simulator. All the important aspects of this game come down to luck, and as you can play with real money (Anybody serious about upgrading will cash) The game promotes gambling, and I believe is one of the reasons this game is addictive.

I have always said that DBO is a poor game, when you compare it to any other MMO in the market it falls short, however there is something so addictive about it. I loved the retail game, and I have no idea why.

When you blow through 50kk + and have nothing to show for it, that is exactly the thing that makes you want to stop playing.

I once bought 15 Stones from the cash shop in Taiwan and got 13 breaks and 2 fails, I broke pretty much every piece of armor I had. I can't describe the absolute disgust I felt at both myself for doing it, but also the system the game employs. (I obviously bought way more throughout my time, but this is an example of one particular afternoon I won't ever forget)

The thing that really frustrates me is seeing the same names constantly getting +12, 13 and 14 (And Divine constantly getting +15)

I have cashed way more than my fair share, but I cant keep up with these people.

The system should not be easy though, I don't want everybody running round with red or purple auras.

The problem with the system is a lack of consistency with both upgrades and also boxes. Spending 10kk can earn you the same result as spending 500kk, 5 stones can earn you the same as 500.

Tera had a decent system, where every time you failed an upgrade, it slightly increased the odds of succeeding next time, which I believe stacked.

It is frustrating that people can get lucky with upgrades or brown boxes, where others get nothing.

This is based on nothing but my own personal theory and the countless number of upgrades I have attempted.

    1) I believe first of all that the card you pick is completely irrelevant.

Upon choosing a card and receiving broken or failed, I have never once in my time on global or taiwan seen the success card revealed to be the Right card, However I have received many successes upon picking the right card.

    2) I believe the % chance of success is related to the current upgrade that your item has on it.

I ALWAYS get success when upgrading from +4 on armor (Always pick middle card, not that I believe it matters), I usually get Success on +5 and so on. The higher I get the more likely I believe I am to fail or break.

I hardly ever Get break on anything below +7. It has happened, but it is very rare and I tend to get fails.

    I have broken or failed on 5 x +11 poles, 1 x +12, 5 x +10 crafted boots and2 x +11 in DBOG, not to mention many others. In Taiwan I broke everything, including 3 x +13 lvl 70 poles.

For whatever reason I seem to think the upgrading here on global has a higher success chance, As I always seemed to break my gear on Taiwan, and it would cost me absolute fortunes just to get to +10 armor.

    3) Side topic, but I have never once in many, many attempts gone from +3 to +6 (armor) or +5 to +8 (weapons) using token stones in DBOG, and I do mean not 1 single time. However I have done it many times on stones I have dropped or purchased. Is there something wrong with token stones?

As for % chances as per your original question, I don't know and I doubt anybody knows with the exception of the creaters and maybe DBOG staff. I suspect it is based on an extensive RNG system in which there is millions of possible seeds based on current upgrade level and time and date of attempted upgrade. (No RNG system is actually completely random, it is based on a series of possible outcome that could be in the billions)

Not that there is anything wrong with anti crit, I just strongly feel it isnt worth it in 45/55 cap. I wouldn't bother trying with anti crit until level 70 where you can also get a cc title, and even them you will be underwhelmed when comparing to SK levels of anti crit.

Personally In 55 cap I would go either

    LP%, Con, Con or

    LP%, LP%, Con

LP % Caps at 60% so at 70 I wouldn't consider 2 x LP % as buff + dogi effect + Pants or Jacket will take you to over 50% anyway.

So I guess at 70 either

    LP%, Con, Con or

    Anti Crit, LP%, Con

    Here are the issues:

You are forced to take a Buffer now which takes up a party slot

You are forced to take a Dende taking up another slot

You are forced to take something capable of tanking (Almost always going to be SK) My fighter had tanked Kraken on Taiwan with ease, but regardless nobody outside of my circle of friends would even consider taking me, and that circle of friends never wanted to spam this boring garbage over and over again.

This leads to 2 remaining slots which under the current speed based META are always going to Poko and Karma. My Karma was never not in Cell, Kraken or CC150.

Where do the other classes fit in to this?

So, you could nerf attack speed and ruin fighters even more in PVP.

This will then make parties use the next META.

This will likely be Buffer, Dende, SK and 2 x Turtles. Ranged Attack, especially ranged AOE is far superior to Melee in this game. Again where do the other classes fit in here?

To make the other classes fit, you have to entirely redesign the game.

Its difficult enough to get a fighter into even TMQ3 or UD2 at the moment because most parties wants to use META.

Nothing you can do can balance PVE.

You have to allow people who can't get into a party due to their class to collect these items, so the 30 second and dissapear thing on dungeon drops is just insane.

Your going to have SK's in budokai with full accessories (20 con rings or prop bonus rings with legendary earrings and necklaces, as these can easily participate in PVE) fighting fighters who are unable to get the same accessories because nobody wants a fighter in their party.

Be very careful you do not ruin the game everybody loved, most of the people who actually support this game have fond memories of the way things where. It wasn't perfect no, but we loved it.

Too many changes are not a good thing.
