Is there a definitive defense against mobs with ridiculous stuns? Never played the vanilla game, but 13+ second stuns/paralysis? I pull 5 mobs all with this ability and I'm disabled for 50+ seconds or stunned indefinitely. I'm a DW tank btw.

It's a bit glitched I believe. Their stuns are so long because you're meant to (I believe) gain status resist as you level. It's not supposed to last this long unless you're lvl 1.

no that mobs can stun you so long is normla like original server,
if you pull a few mobs with stun attacks the mobs time there attack that you get stuned after stun after stun and so on -
Yeah, stuns should be nerfed. If u lure some mobs with this ability u can't move till die, same in pvp who use first stun he's the winner of the fight. Really its soooo sux.

you can try use necklace with paralyse % for pvp or status resistance buff for pve

Yes, but that's only because resistance/stunn decreasing gear does not work, this normally decreased the chance of getting CCed and the duration of the CC.
For now, guard is OP in DBOG for a reason, it'll block any incomming CC and dammaging abilities. This is a good way to train your reflexes in DBO, since you'll need them for the upcomming UD's and TMQ's. -
