Fuuuuuuutttboooolllllllllll!!!! GOALASOOOOOOO! fav team Cruz Azul.

its called soccer international
Let's make the point.... Internationally, the sport is called Football, and it is reasonable.
In football, you play with a ball using your feet for at least 95% of the game.
In American Football on the other hand, you don't even play with a ball (it is not a sphere). And, if that isn't enough yet, you play with your feet about 3.1% of the whole game.
Honestly, my dad still calls it American Rugby...

lol no I live in Space Australia people say Soccer lol im not sure about North America.
in america we call it soccer because we have another sport call football. Most of the poorer countries like south america, Caribbeans, etc no offense call it football because they don't have a real football team.
Man U, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Portugal.
Also, at the guy above me, that IS their futbol teams. Those sports aren't as popular in other countries so there would be no reason to/language differences, the audacity lmao..

Americans have honestly too much pride in admitting to the idea that they called a game Football when there is little to no contact between the foot and the supposed "Ball" (more of an egg tbh)

In Jamaica, American football is called eggball. NO jamaican ah call futbol soccer unless they americanized but even then it's still rare.

It because we have enough money/resources to have more than one major sport to watch yearly. Baseball, basketball, football, and, golf and soccer etc.
