I tried on two different boss NPCs to trade in silver coins for gold, and it gives me error message. Many people around me had same problem (they could not purchase or exchange with coins)
Boss NPC is bugged?

Did you kill the correct boss for your level?
The quest for the skinny Majin require you to kill the robot boss in mushroom rocks north
The quest for the fat Majin requires you to kill the dragon boss in mushroom rocks south. If the right boss was killed it might be the return of the silver coin bug that happened a few updates back. for now i would stockpile your silver coins and wait until the next update to try and trade them in for things.

Same thing happened today. This is the error message. (See chat box on left as other people are having the same problem)

Just bumping this thread so Daneos sees it. this problem has persisted for the past 2 weeks.

He knows. wait for the next update like i've said in previous threads. It's hardly an essential thing that needs it's special own update.

I don't understand how something like this suddenly stops working. Unless Daneos was attempting to add more titles to the Boss NPC or sommat -

It's fairly common in coding. If you patch something other things can very easily conflict with it. Happened in all major, minor, and in between projects. Eventually a balance will be found but when it come to add another thing previous code can then conflict with that so with each addition or update something that worked before could then bug or cease to function entirely until a patch it found for it that allows both to work together at the same time.
Went through this hell so much when i was at college. thank god i didn't take it at uni

Maybe he just coded something with similar usage of items so it messed up some code he used in the past. Anyways, hope the problem gets fixed.
I haven't had it happen to me, but some guild mates say they are having it from time to time! -
Sounds like it may be. he had to include in the CC tickets to function recently so they could conflict.
Whatever the case it's sure to be fixed sooner or later
