Best/ most efficient way to get zenni?

Do TMQ or UDs and grab any gear you find. For a full inventory of gear (or at least as full as you can get it) you can easily sell it to the merchants for in between the 15-20k depending on the level of the gear. And what's better is that if you get legendary gear with good stats on it, you can sell it at the auction house or other areas for a ton more. That's how I get my money. Just remember to pick up anything gear related from the ground.

Grind UDs and Tmqs and sell gear

Pretty much what they said ^ You can also sell crafted gear if you feel like crafting for yourself or for the sake of just selling to make Zeni~

From my experience grinding Time Machine Quests and "Dungeoning" were always the best.

Within a day or 2's worth of grinding, It'd be making enough Zeni to buy myself something nice and pricey from the AH (This was back in closed beta).

From personal experience, i'd say crafting or selling upgrade stones would be your best bet as a f2p player.

If you're lucky, you can make quite the profit
