You need to open the game with the launcher, not dbog.exe.

People, how can I download the launcher from the page? It won't let me and doesn't give me any option, please help

You can't download the launcher from the page. I removed it after the near endless complaints from people who refused to read the instructions about how you should only use it if you live relatively close to the patch server, because I haven't built a CDN for the patch network yet, and it's only relatively speedy if you're in Europe. The only downloads that remain are the entire game client.

You need to open with the launcher, not with DBOG.exe. Otherwise, it's usually an issue with you using a browser translation service when creating your password.

Hey im having a slightly different issue but none the less i cannot login. when i open the game from the launcher it will give me this errror and i played earlier today and didnt have this issue and now i dont understand why its happening.

personnal i cant register, says there's invalid character in it but in fact there isnt so i dont know what to do

You are missing configoptions.xml. You can find it in the #downloads section on our discord. If your files are disappearing you likely have a different issue though. Look in #support on the discord, or in the pinned thread in the general forum here for common installation issues.

If it says there's an invalid character, there's an invalid character. Try removing the symbols from your password.

I have this already in my files it shows up as a microsoft edge icon that i can click on.

Update, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and im in it right now. so i guess it was missing something. thanks for the help

You have the game in onedrive, that's what's causing you issues. Move it to a folder that's not being synced. That's why I told you to check the common installation issues o.o

i had the same issue so i launched the game itself as admin and i figured it was the OLD version of the game to, trying to connect to a server that doesnt exist anymore

Launching the game itself as admin will not change which server it connects to. I need more information to debug this for you, but there's not much to installing the game. You just unzip it to a folder on desktop, exclude that folder from firewall/antivirus, and run as admin.
