I patched the game every time i start. I didn't tick the ignore patch box

Are you crashing on certain channels or in certain places?

mostly on channel 0 but sometimes on other channels. it happened even while afking. This happens consistently

Hmm. Can you click the repair button in your launcher settings? Maybe some of your files are corrupted.

I keep crashing as well. Just now I was trying to get involved with the world boss. I crashed 3 times and missed out on it. If I looked at him it crashed me. Logged back in and just, didn't get credit or anything, but looked away from him. Popo spawned in after but missing all his textures.
I've used the repair button about 4 times in the last 3 days, lol. This a known thing? -

Can you guys let me know how that goes? I've built it into the new game client but I don't see much of a difference. Still testing though. I pushed an update to the old client that should improve the performance a bit, but there's only so much I can do without investing a lot of time into a client I don't have the source code for, which isn't really something I'm prepared to do at the moment.

I also pulled my log, if that helps? It seems to have been (at least for me) a failure to load some animations. Or at least, an animation load failure was one of the last major things before it crashed. And I checked a few different logs, it appeared to be consistent across all of them.

I've seen those before. It's not failing to load animations, I've checked all those errors before. It has no problem loading those animations otherwise. It seems to be some kind of cascading, catastrophic failure that produces a silent error before all those animations "fail".

Ah, ok. I'll scrub the 5 or so I kept then. I didn't think it was actually an animation error, as it all seemed to work fine. If it helps any further, going after a World Boss solo, while a suicide mission, didn't seem to trigger the crash anywhere as quickly. But when loaded down with a bunch of other players, it was rather consistent.

Yeah, it's something to do with large groups of players. The crash doesn't happen in the new client, as far as I can tell, but we're still testing that.

Reporting back. Tried the LAA change. Hanging out around the PvP ring, fighting the world boss fish.. I'm not getting the crash from before, but I am getting that ??? ??? ??? green bar crash now.

I still get that too, or something similar in the new client. We're looking into it. Doesn't look like a quick fix. I was hoping the framerate increase in the old client would alleviate some of it but no dice. I've baked the LAA into the new client natively but it's still not using over 1gb of memory on my machine. Does the change actually increase the amount of memory used by your client?
