can i buy a scouter with the dragon ball search effect from the scoter merchant

The scouters with the dragonball search effect can be found at certain merchants in different zones. I do not think the on in Korins village sells one but I now that there is a merchant in the lvl 46 open dungeon that has one for sale.

No need Waterfall scouter (4 options)

The scouter from Korin or West City with 2 options (two yellow things in description) is enough to find dragon balls.

When the event is online (dragon ball icon near Wagu wagu/cash shop/netpy shop icons) and You wear one of these ^ scouters, You can see on Your minimap mobs (green dots) sometimes instead of green dot You will see a small DB icon.
This mob can drop dragon ball. Chances are small. Check Daneos video.
Ofc. You can even drop DB without scouter but You dont know which mob could drop.
And You can drop db only from mob that got 5 level less or 5 levels max than Your level. If You're 15 level, You can drop db only from 10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20 level mob

1. You need a scouter with DB option
2. You need DB icon on south-east corner = Event is online
3. You must look on minimap for "Dragon ball icon" mob
And that's all.

No offence but it's really not hard to type in "Dragonball hunting guide" into the search bar. the only option you are given is this:

It tells you exactly what you need to know

All the scouters +lv 20 have ball detections.

That's neither here nor there though. The easiest scouter you can get to see dragonballs will be the scouter merchant in your respective races dungeon. but the easiest one to find is the red scouter in korin village.

Does anybody know if daneos is making the db hunt everyday or every week like retail dbo.

no. no one does as he himself hasn't yet decided.

He has said in discord that doing it over the 48 hour period over the weekend if no point and we all pretty much agreed with him.
