Does the english patch from the original DBO website work? they have a 2.2 english patch available for download, so im just wondering if anyone kows if that will work to make the game content readable.

why would you want to use an outdated patch? Dbor is translating this game into full english.

I meant from the original game released in 2010 that shutdown in 2013. But thanks for letting me know that that patch gives game an error i will not try it then

If someone have the old english patch from retail link it to me and I'll take a look. We're currently working really hard to translate the whole game.

Here is the patch but it doesn't work I already tried to use it, first you need to change dbog.exe to dbo.exe than you can use the patch but even if you change the exe back to dbog.exe it will give you an error if you start the game.

1. This isn't retail patch, this is patch made by the community of dbocom.
2. This tool works fine we're using it to translate the game as we speak.

Hmm I tried to patch my client when Alpha was open and it didn't work for some reason.

Probably because they changed the code to let dbog play it on and since we don't have their ver. of the english patch it will give an error.

i figured out why does it not exist it does if uptade comes and first fail downloads 1 of 101 i was able to make copy of it Before it will be deleted on file 2 of 101

Dont bother with this. All that this patch has is already implemented into this game. This patch will actually revert some stuff back to Chinese.
If you want a dirty way to translate to help out with some quests there is a guide here. It works most of the time.
