Everytime I open up the DBOGLauncher it says the server is in South America and doesn't update

I'll download it again overnight. And how do I talk to Daneos. I doubt he has time to waste on 1 little issue with 1 person haha

Guys for me, my antivirus was blocking the update.
I paused protection for 5 mins, let it update and then resumed protection and then it worked.
Obviously this is not ideal from people to trust the product, so something should change in the update code so it isn't flagged as potentially dangerous.

If using windows 10 try the following
1. Run the program as Admin
2. Add the client to your firewall list
3. If your using Mcaffee or Norton you will run into an issue where it can blacklist the client if so try the following1. In Norton turn off your antivirus uninstall DBOG reinstall it to your C:/ Not to programs or programs x86 to the main drive it self.
2. Check Norton's Quarantine location make sure none of the DBOG files are in there as 2 of them might be both are client files.In MCafee Do the same check the Quarantine location and do the following
1. Turn off Anti virus uninstall and reinstall Reboot your pc.
2. When loading your pc back up go to client right click and change properties to always run as admin and in XP sp3 compatibilityIf none of this works look at what router you have if using a router with DMZ turned on then turn it off and open port 3367 and 3389 and set it to both.

how did you change it? I can't do it be a useful of the dumb updating thing
(If u talking about servers) U go to the Lancher > Options > Region and change it to North America...then save it..it should do a little update and then the START button will go yellow..so Good Luck and Have Fun

I don't think that this is client related, probably network. Try giving your network preferences a quick look.

I have this problem. I tried turning off firewall, reinstalling, restarting, downloading the latest framework, i still get the updater stuck at 0% and no i can't change region cause it says wait for the updater to finish :/.
