cant compile on winserver2016 OS?

solved: use 8.1sdk ,compiled ok..

Hi, I am a Software Engineer in my third year of college. I am sure I could contribute in some way to the project. My experience includes: building web applications through MVC .NET Core, building bots through Azure Portal, managing Databases in Microsoft SQL, and messing around with Unity.

PS: Just started working on setting up a server, and will update on the progress.

Your friend will only need to change the IP in the ConfigOptions.xml file. For you, you'll need to change the IP in the server configuration files and ConfigOptions.

when i run the client ..it tips:

CNtlPLEmblemStuffList::LoadScript (75) : [ASSERT] Can not load scprit file of name : .\script\emblemstuff.dat

in sever the config file have 8 file such as authsever.ini charserver.ini and so on ! how to change ip in these files? and where is the server's ConfigOptions.?

those .ini files are the server configuration files. Go in those files and change the IP in there

I have no problem showing you how I did it. but first I want to solve this problem of being able to move xd

you can find this files in directory output build "DboServer/ExecutionEnv/Config" and each files contain configurations (IP/ Database info).

I already have everything working someone could tell me what to use to open the .pak files and be able to edit, translate and more.

Daneos gave this answer in another section of the forum to a similar question, maybe it can help you.

---Daneos----Open DboClient.sln and check the tool "PackEditor"

For .rdf files, check TableEditor. However, it's only base and there is no save function yet.

It would help you more if I could, but my notions were very basic and I still couldn't get it to work, I'll wait for a tutorial to continue learning

enrealidas only compile both client and server without errors.

then mount the databases and adjust the .ini files with the key and with that the server is already there.

If you can't do that, look for any YouTube video where the old servers put the procedure is the same.
