Damage and defense calculation Formula (Based on DBO-TW videos).

  • Base damage + crit damage formula: (the formula is for physical and energy, we have made based on those skills why only had to calculate these videos, because of the equipment).


    This formula was taken by @hyakuyaand me.


    All this here this is not 100% sure that is correct.
    Defense Calculation + formula (The more like old Dbo)
    PROPERTIES: iNCREASES ENERGY AND PHYSICAL ATTACK, ENERGY DEFENSE AND PHYSICAL DEFENSE.
    DEF= % (Decreases x% Damage) (If necessary it can be increased by 1%, the already a considerable difference).

    1000= 11% (Decreases 11% Damage)
    2000= 21% (Decreases 10% Damage)
    3000= 30% (Decreases 9% Damage)
    4000= 38% (Decreases 8% Damage)
    5000= 45% (Decreases 7% Damage)
    6000= 51% (Decreases 6% Damage)
    7000= 56% (Decreases 5% Damage)
    8000= 60% (Decreases 4% Damage)
    9000= 63% (Decreases 3% Damage)
    10000= 65% (Decreases 2% Damage)
    11000= 66% (Decreases 1% Damage)
    12000= 67% (Decreases 1% Damage) (From here, only decreases 1%,up to 75% of def.)
    20000= 75% (Decreases 1% Damage) (Def Cap)


    (Def + Props + Def over nature) = Def X (Decreases damage by X% )


    (Kyra's Defense stats) (Based on the above calculation defense).

    27%
    properties + 5% def over nature = 1400

    damage - (Def + Props ) = Damage (Defense based on def calcultion)
    Crit % +Bonus crit % = Base crit <--(base crit based on normal damage)
    (New damage x base crit) x Skill damage = crit damage <--(crit damage calculated)
    Damage + Crit damage = Final max critical damage <--(Final damage)


    *** Note : if a sub weapon is required to use the skill, first line changes to :
    For skills using the sub weapon.

    (energy attack total - weapon damage + sub weapon damage) x skill damage ) + props = base
    (ex: (1516 - 676 + 770)x Skill damage) + props = Damage).


    Formula while using damage RP:
    (Energy attack total x Skill Damage + RP) + props = base damage <-(No crit) (without property, not add.)
    damage - (DEF + Props ) = Damage
    crit % +bonus crit % = base crit <--(base crit based on normal damage)

    (new damage x base crit) x skill damage = crit damage <--(crit damage calculated)
    damage + crit damage = final critical damage <--(Final damage)


    BONUS CRIT % = 5 ~ 10% in the cases below we will be using the max bonus % possible (10%)

    Lv 30 attacking mobs / lv 70 players receive 20% more damage and do 20% less damage (decreasing 5% every 10 LV Ex: attack lv 50 = -10% damage and receives 10% more damage).
    LV 40 attacking mobs / lv 70 players receive 15% more damage and do 15% less damage
    LV 50 attacking mobs / lv 70 players receive 10% more damage and do 10% less damage
    LV 60 attacking mobs / lv 70 players receive 5% more damage and do 5% less damage5
    LV 70 does not reduce or increase.

    9018 - 11%(MOB DEF) = 8026

    calculating the defense was through random to be based on the video first removed the gear to see the average damage, ie well random but went close, it can be increased a little if necessary.
    defense decreases the percentage by 1% every 1000 DEF because of the tank classes, and also the great namek that get a very high defense.

    First I want to say super thx for the explanation, I really appreciated, now we are communiating to one another.



    Ok i just watch the videos for the 5 time now and i found some inconsistencies, maybe u just didnt mentioned. So
    U said to me that u remove from ur self gear in order to calulate the amount of Defence mobs have, right?
    ok
    But When i look at the videos u never remove ur gloves and subweapon, u only remove ur armor.
    It means that u can only calulate the Player Defenses, not MOB defences. Cuz u know defece its when recibing damage and u dont change the damage u make to mobbs.


    I think in order to calculate MOBS DEFENCES u need to change weapons, right?, so u can have comparative values, but in both videos u dont show that, i never see u changing or removing weapons from u while attaking mobs.


    Can u explain me, how did u get the 1000 defence from mobs whit out changing ur weapons?
    How did u get the 1000 defence from mobs whit out a comprative diferencial value?

    the defense used to calculate that the mobs was the same as the players, why not make sense to use a different calculation.

  • 1000 DEF decreases 11% of incoming damage, is like dodge doo update today given them to dodge in this case to receive less damage, defense calculation was based for players and mobs why both do not have
