I don't think it does well it shouldn't lol i mean i use google chrome and dont have any problems when i leave it open with dbog maybe if you're using another browser it could affect it who knows
-
It shouldn't affect any application, except if your system has low memory and low processing efficiency, rather than that,it should be OK,also it will depend as well on how many tabs you have on...(cache memory on disk)

If you tell us your pc specs, maybe we can help you better. And keep your graphic drivers updated would help also.

from my experience keeping your browser open while playing dbog should have little to no affect on your gameplay.
a lot of the time I listen to soundtracks on youtube while I enjoy the game and have no issues.
but it all depends on your computer, the ram, graphics drive associated with your device.
below is the minimum specs to run this game

Hope this helps

Shouldn't be the case, the game and browser use different transport protocols, it might have been your bandwidth usage or your computers RAM and CPU. I recommend you to look at your specs. (Finding specs usually you find the icon My computer> right click on the icon> properties, should lead you to computer specs if not try a google search).

If you have a really awful computer maybe, but this game doesn't require any much
-
if ur running the game on a 4k resolution and u play a youtube video then and only then it might affect slight a bit but also deppends on ur pc as well
