This is a project that I followed since 2007, it is a mod for Half Life 1 that adds a new playstyle with DBZ Characters
The gameplay is kinda what you can expect from the Half Life Engine, Free-Roam in a little map and for fighting it has a Melee System and Ki Attacks
and I wonder if someone played it before, I remember it being quite popular and people is still updating this with more Models, Powers and stuff

Actually: This was a direct theft of the half life 3 game files that valve was working on: It would've given insight into the very nature of shoenen battle manga, including a character roster which would've hosted every protagonist from every shoenen anyone has, will, or will ever even think to make.
It's a shame they couldn't locate the rest of the files, but this was only to ensure that the hype for HL3 would never die. They've done a fantastic service, but this modpack only includes 1/infinity % of the complete game.

Lucky for us, the Project is "Delayed" and not "Cancelled"
They, from time to time, do a Stream working on the game and looks pretty good so far

Yep, we're still working on it. Things just go slow when you basically only use Goldsrc as your multiplayer back end, building your own custom engine for the most part, and have to build your own assets from scratch.
Along with having only 2 coders that put real time in to it, one modeler, one animator, 2 mappers, one guy who does FX/audio and cams and one guy working on the HUD. All of whom work and some of which have wives and kids. We'll get to a release, just has to be done around our real jobs and families.
Currently planning another trailer right now, he (Dalte) wants to do the Ginyu force, I want to do struggles. So we'll see which one we end up doing.

Not "my" work, I'm primarily a tester, who has helped with map and model art direction, and help run the discord. But we (the team) appreciate the support all the same.

Yea this mod is really good.
Still I use to play Zeq2 Lite more.
Combat system is way better there.

The fight system kinda screws me up but atleast has aim-lock wich is better compared to ESF -

- Better combat system
- Better character control
Combat system:
1. Guard (block all light attacks aka auto attack and left click)
2. Auto attack (normal with w button or w + ki for more dmg)
3. Right click (break guard and if target isn't use dodge aka moving back)
4. Left click (in auto attack it gains advantage and prevent moving away from you)
5. Holding right click - makes punch or kick (based on what arrow key you hold)
Well this is most of it, my guild use to be top guild in that game mod years ago.

Those are same game on dif engine system.
I only explain what is better on Zeq2 Lite than ESF.

This is way late, but our game is vastly different. There's nothing "same" about it. If you're implying that a 3rd person DBZ game with free flight is the same, then Xenoverse is the same as ESF, and ESF is the same as Bid For Power, and ZEQII Lite is the same as The Destruction is Real.

Gotta luv esf. Still play 1.2.3 from time to time. Sadly its dead and only a few of the better players ever come online from time to time

Yeah, 1.2.3 is more or less dead at this point. You'll get some people from time to time. Our discord is super active though, and despite popular belief, we are still working on Final. We just showed off a wip of a new model to people in our "force pit".
