Defence System is a joke when dealing with Boss mobs

WOW... looks like bad times! I've been told about the damage dealt by the boss (Especially the lvl 50 one). They all say that either that mob's damage is bugged or defense is. They say in the log it says dealt like 2500 damage but in actuality it does like 8000+

I never thought that i will see some report thread from you, but yeah defense system is now a priority. We may just wait until the defense's formula is good enough to be updated.

I'm 100% sure the defense calculations are incorrect, just ask any SK or DW out there.

Stuns also work less often on bosses as well. They are still able to attack 2/3 times before fully becoming stunned.

Just make party with Crane's hahaha, they won't hit you with their bugged Freeze.

@nothavingfun I've figured when you stun a boss and then inmediately cast another skill the stun for the boss dissapears '-' maybe later i will upload some video about this issue.

Hmmm.. I am unsure about this myself....

I also have a measly "5080" Physical defense that are good for nothing, take the same quantity of damage lol
I hope def calculations are fixed when launching BID 2 ~~ 4, with the def that I have + buffs, I could tank any dungeon easily

I cast hypnosis first for debuffs and they don't move though that, chain my cast times together for freeze and they sometimes can hit twice before it actually takes effect. /off topic tho

boss cant even get stunned etc normally and since u can easily clear the boss with our bugged dmgs i dont see how its à Big problème. It should actually be harder to beat bosses

Freeze from crane's is the only stun which may stop bosses. Idk if its working right now.

Just tell yourself that once def isn't bugged anymore our dmg will also not be bugged anymore, thus balancing it out.
I cleared UD4 quite easily because of our absurd dmgs and we didn't even break a sweat really since dendes heal over 30k...

true, the defence system isn't working at all, even lvl 30's can kill a lvl 70 very easily. But there's a lot more to fix/add to the game:

All of the combat rates (status resist, block, success,..).
The defensive stats/boosts from armour and skills.
The knockback from guard.
HTB.
..
.

Keep in mind this is pre-open beta, so there's no need to panic, ony to be patient.

Daneos said that the defense is working under 1000 def, above 1000 the damage does not change pretty much. He still have to upgrade the equation since it's totally bad for classes like DW/SK.

And most of us have defense above 1000. at least the players who want to enter UD and BID. Otherwise we have no chance to survive boss atk
