Funny how I get banned for speaking my opinion and yet actual players who are flaming are left untouched. Dbog has a lot of problems, brown boxes rate is just one of them. This is why I say this game will die fast.

I say, just enjoy the game, there's no way in hell Dbog will magically do a 180 turn and give the players what they want, getting an actual real ammount of brown boxes being cash shop only and the earrings drop rate was all strategically done by Daneos himself.

Maybe a project will come with actual passion, but for now no, thread should just be closed since everything is said and nothing will change.

This has been going on since beginning of POB starting with dragonball earrngs being the only obtainable good earrings at the time whcih of course needed brownboxing. Since rank and most dungeons didnt work. This probably sparked up the idea for Daneos to block off earrings and necklaces to begin with. Daneos is giving this game more problems than it already had before it died. I dont even think hes even looking at DBOG as a long term income thing. He's possibly looking at other dead mmos he could revamp.

The thing also with Daneos is he thinks if he makes this game heavily P2W for the cashers and helps out the noobs with things like not being able to trash gift box, the game will live. But that couldn't be further from the truth. I remember in the early stages of POB noobs in the DBOG discord chat would complain about a minor quest bug, Daneos would get right on it. But things like hesitation being nerfed that took around half a year to finally add to the game after months of complaining.

He has to understand those noobs will eventually hit end game cap and get better at the game and see how terrible things are with balance and P2W aspects, and that heavy cashers will cash for whats needed, for example if the game is less P2W and they need to cash more they will.

Only problem with removing brown boxes would be CC accessory and gears since they are with shit stats.

Unless we can't change stats on them, via crafting or something, brown boxes should stay since they are some way of "recrafting" gear.

f*ck the names. My name tells you everything about this whole thing with brown boxes being the only way to get max. stats and at some point turn into the main ingame currency for good stuff.

This needs some work. If we could drop legendary max. stats by farming, it would be one good step already. People would be motivated to do something. By removing the brown boxes, even casher would have to do work to get what they need. Well, or they just cash for something else and make zeni and buy the good sh*t from farming players. But this also would mean Daneos losing a good income for the server. Also a lot of cashers would cry like hardcore noobs who can't play this game cuz they wouldn't be able to get the good sh*t fast and with no effort. (try not to get triggered dear cashers, especially the sensible ones. We all know you guys keep the server running. Love you . It just sucks that it screws ingame tho :D)

This is one of the downsides of MMOs for me. The people in charge can mess with the RNG in a way that the whales continue depositing their money without notice that they are being manipulated to do this to have a chance to achieve something.

We all know that MMORPGs are based on luck, as well as gambling on Casinos. And Casinos have people who spend up to their economies because of gambling addiction. If after that, you think a MMORPG can have characteristics of a Casino, and the whales may have characteristics of people who are addicted to gambling, remember a classic quote about Casinos that can be applied to P2W MMORPGs: The House always wins.

I'm going to miss this game, if the team does not change the system to get brown boxes and autopots.

AMZD maybe you do not know but most of staff members are here to monitor forum.

Box-head(boxbox) doing his best for community as some of staff members and to make post as this, it isn't needed.

Every staff member is player in this game, soon or later they might be out of team due real life issue or just giving chance to someone else to take their role and help community.

Only guy who call shots here is Daneos and only Daneos.

Staff team listen to community, most of them, and they are sending community response to Daneos.

If something is changed, it is changed because Daneos wants it to be changed and maybe if you do not like staff members personal opinions, some of do, since after all, all of us are part of this community and all of us are players.

On - Topic: Soon or later this stuff, including auto pots, will be added/edited. Box-head(boxbox) thx for opinion regarding this mate.

Dude, people have school and work. Some people don't wanna pour in $10k just to be strong at the game unlike somebody. And coming back farming your ass off for straight hours without sleep and getting no good equips or brown boxes, while the server is filled with messages of whales that just have better computer overall and to top it off cashing like mad. Doesn't have to earn the money they have. They just have to sell their dogis, brown boxes, dogi balls, whom do they sell them to? To us f2p players! Sitting around afking with multiple alt accounts, while you're running around in fields trying to get zeni. IN the end where does that zeni go to? Again back to them, the game is not hard. It's insane. But I guess you wouldn't now that right? Self proclaimed f2p.

It's kind of true, they sometimes do give warning to people that are analyzing the game objectively, but they take the review of cashers instead. Just because casher dont get their way, they whine about making the game easier for them. They dont give a damn about grinding or anything like that. The obscene things that they suggest aint even related to grinding to obtain those stuffs, just things that help them ease upgrades and market fluctuation towards them. The whole circle that they intend for feels like a dictatorship where we are the zeni mules.

Cash shop is there for people who work so they can still compete with people who are playing 24/7. This is not LoL or any other MOBA it's an MMORPG get over it, cash shop in MMORPG's are always like this. As long as you can get all the gear its just a matter of time.

2 years as a matter of time? Some people might not get to your "as a matter of time" this again, is a private server. And its not competing. At this point the cash shop is literally dominating people that grind. Are you blind? Self proclaimed f2p players. Are you even watching the market. F2p, sure...from youre analysis of the current situation, considering your pov, youre pretty f2p. This delusional guy, literally a joke. People are getting hundreds of u70 stones and brown boxes and u tell me it's equivalent to a f2p player farming 24/7? Get outta here! Get him outta here, im done. This guy is beyond me. yeah,well because of people like anittoxic who are helping at growing conflict we miss the pourpose of this topic and i Kindly ask all of you who are responding to this person to stop and focus on the thread. Flaming him for his disconception and immaturity wont help brown boxes problem.

So here are a few suggestions i have which in my personal opinion i think they might work:

1.Make the brown boxes easier to get/drop .The premise is the following: right now cashers have an averege of let's say 200boxes( they might have more or none this is an estimative averege) and the f2p players might have 20(from trades or from buying them still i think 10kk is a big amount ONLY for boxes)

Now if we increase the number of brown boxes the cashers will have 2000 and the f2p will have 200.Conclusion: Cashers will be closer to attain perfect stats but atleast f2p will have the desired stats even if not the maximum value is still better than no stat at all.

2.As many of you already suggested and i dont want to steal your ideas just to present them.Bind the brown boxes that are obtained through cash.

Why? this will stop brown boxes from becoming currency and in this way f2p who will farm zeni ,will be able to obtain something out of their farm and not be left out because of the brown boxes aviablity due to cash.

3.This is a big controversial one and many ppl will flame me for this but. Remove brown boxes from cashshop. Make them only obtainable from events/farm/or another way drop craft etc. Something that needs work towards creating or obtaining rather than being easy obtainable by a certain class of people.

4.Another ''stolen suggestion'' if brown boxes won't be changed then atleast increase the drop of the max stat items .This will help f2p players who work hard get their desired stat without investing brown boxes .

Now as a disclamer: most of these are not my ideas ,but other people's ideas so all their credit goes to them.And also i would like to mention that if the game goes in the direction is following right now ,we wont be liking what is to come.I already saw lv 70 items with good stats heck even +10 +13 so lv 70 cap will become a cap where boxes matter and thats all.Now i dont have hate towards casher ,actually im indebt to them that they sustain this game but i please all of you consider ,any of the ideas shown in this thread ,after all isnt it more fun when there is more competition ?
